I have often seen items like:

Advertising another website is a Big NO-NO

Last edited by LadyCibelle : Yesterday at 05:18 PM. Reason: Advertising of another website

which have been inserted into posts by moderators.

However many signatures advertise other sites, and one element of a user's CP and of an author/reader's biography is a link to a non-Literotica web site of the member's choice. Mine, for instance, goes direct to my commercial "buy my books" page.

Does anyone have the faintest idea why the link in my signature below cannot appear here but is allowed there?

Your guess is as good as mine, sweet. I'm just doing what I've been told to do. You can advertise your books in your signature but not in posts.

Hmm, Not Really

I don't understand about the link thing. My experience is that one of two thngs have occurred; either you fucked up, or you *REALLY* fucked up.

That's my take on it. If there's no banging on the door, you probably didn't *REALLY* fuck up. Oh, and a lack of gunshots. While I appalud exclamations, those are a bad thing.
