I think longer penises may be more visually stimulating, and more easily quantifiable at a glance, so there's that.

The other benefit can be if a partner enjoys stimulation of the anterior or posterior fornix, being longer than average definitely helps. At 6.5" on a typical day, I can't stimulate that spot for my wife. But, we don't know if she enjoys it either since I can't reach it.
