They said US talks not intelligent, wise or honourable.
The world agrees with Iran. How crazy is that?

not crazy at all. it's good to know that more sane people exist in the world. They said US talks not intelligent, wise or honourable.

On the other hand, talking "intelligently" or "wisely" or "honourably" with the Iranians hasn't usually resulted in a productive outcome, has it?They said US talks not intelligent, wise or honourable.

Crazy + crazy won't equal a positive outcome. Someone needs to be the grown up. Hopefully in 4 years or less, praise Allah, the US won't have an ignorant man child as a leader. On the other hand, talking "intelligently" or "wisely" or "honourably" with the Iranians hasn't usually resulted in a productive outcome, has it?
Can't argue with you there. On the other hand, decades of "non-crazy" diplomacy hasn't exactly worked, has it?Crazy + crazy won't equal a positive outcome. Someone needs to be the grown up. Hopefully in 4 years or less, praise Allah, the US won't have an ignorant man child as a leader.
I hope it's less, btw.
Those crazy college kids...They never really got over that Shah thing.![]()
They would also be correct to describe the entire Trump Administration as that.If they describe current US negotiators as dishonorable, that is a significant insult and will have evidence to back it up.
These folks "described" Salman Rushdie and Danish political cartoonists and moslems that don't belong to their own particular sect, as well as, of course, the Jews, as the spawn of satan! (I'm paraphrasing here, of course) If the Iranians feel "dishonoured" perhaps it is they who reek of dishonour? The Iranians have a strong honor ethos. You may not like what they say, and you may misinterpret what they say. However, if they say that they will do something, that will happen. If it doesn't, it's probably because you thought they said something else.
The present regime is largely hated by the population who are ruled by force; do not confuse the government with the people.
The Shah was seen by just about everyone as a Western puppet, backed by Western forces and stealing the countries' oil wealth for his own pocket. It was a matter of time before he was thrown out or assassinated.

They see the defense of their superstition as honorable. If another Muslim blasphemes against their Prophet they have an obligation to avenge that. These folks "described" Salman Rushdie and Danish political cartoonists and moslems that don't belong to their own particular sect, as well as, of course, the Jews, as the spawn of satan! Makes their "superstition" unique. They see the defense of their superstition as honorable. If another Muslim blasphemes against their Prophet they have an obligation to avenge that.
It's simple really.
They take their prophet and his teachings seriously. Much like American Evangelists and their Great Supreme Leader.Makes their "superstition" unique.![]()
