ipod anyone?

so i got a 8gb ipod nano for christmas
and my soon to be ex dl music on it for me
does anyone know where to go to get free vids?
or movies or podcasts?
and a question about the battery..I heard that you cannot buy replacment ones..that you must send Apple you ipod and they send you in essence another one...is this true?and does anyone know how long the battery will last?thanks a buncha

Not sure about any of your questions..my teen expert is in school...lol...I have 330 songs in I tunes if you can figure out how to transfer them.....lol

Yep, thats true. That's really how Apple makes its money -- by keeping all products and services in-house and not outsourcing much of anything. Battery lasts a long time fully charged, usually at least 4-5 hours (or more) of continuous use listening to music, probably a bit less while watching video. You can get some free stuff off iTunes, but there are other places as well. Not sure if I'm allowed to share them publicly on these boards though.

i dont know about that BUT i do use WINAMP and thats where i synch my music etc from

Kind of a crap shoot in that department as it is with anything else. My original iPod lasted me 3 years before the battery needed to be replaced. Then my Nano died after 6 months and needed a new battery. Luck of the draw.
