iOS5 private browsing

I recently upgraded my iPhone to iOS5 and hoped the private browsing feature in Safari would work with sites like this forum. But when I've got it switched on I can't open threads.
Can anyone shed some light on this problem?

Hmmm. Thats interesting. I have ios5 and as an experiment thought I'd respond using it with a private browsing setting. The only thing I can think of is that your default is on parental control. I had to change it to no.

Areyou accepting cookies as well?

Check that you don't have parental control/blocked sites and that you can accept cookies and then restart your phone.

It may be something as simple as the infamous Lit lag...

If by parental controls you mean "Restrictions", that's turned off.
I've had no problems accessing the site when Private Browsing is Off, and can see the forum indexes when it's on, I just can't read threads when it's on.
(TBH I'm not familiar with Lit Lag. I assume you mean the site's a bit sluggish sometimes.)

A bit sluggish is pretty much an understatement

Have you tried rebooting the phone? I've tried again, and I know I was able to access LIT and post without a problem. The only thing I can think of is that there's something in your settings, but private browsing shouldn't affect anything.
