Lit's own WriterDom has had his first book published.

It's a volume of poetry, not surprisingly. Emotional and insightful, it's not erotic poetry and not BDSM poetry, but is deeply felt and skillfully phrased verse of the caliber and quality that we've so long associated with him.

Called The Seasons of Love, its divided into four sections reflecting the four seasons of the year. It's an emotional journey through a yearlong progression of changes in the heart.

If you want a copy, please feel free to PM or email him and talk to him about it. I'm pretty sure he'll autograph yours if you ask nicely.

Congrats, WD. As I said on the other thread, it's good to know one can still publish a book of poetry. Celebrate your accomplishment. ~:rose:~

Congratulations WriterDom!!! That is fantastic news! I've been reading quite a bit of poetry lately.. the friend of mine that passed away recently had written alot of poems, that he didn't tell anyone about.. we found notebooks upon notebooks.. and it is so interesting to read what he was feeling when he wrote them... poetry is a window into one's soul..
   and hugs to all.. sierra

This is GREAT news!

WD..although we haven't interacted much, i've developed a healthy respect for your knowledge, experience and humor!

It's wonderful to know that the things we learn here a Lit can help us in the rest of our lives, that the people we meet here are real and capable of using the talents they show on this little stage.

It give me a shot of hope. i'll have another if you don't mind...on the rocks.

(Hope on the Rocks? Maybe i should take it Straight Up!)

Well done, Writer Dom

That is fantastic news.

Is there any chance you would post a taste of your work from your book?

Or, if there is something already submitted from the book, please direct us ?

(I understand you have a certain interest in issuing directions!)

*smirks*

Again, congradulations.

Congratulations and who knows . . . perhaps you'll be the new Carl Sandburg or Robert Frost!

Standing applause

My most hearty congratulations to you! I also took a shot of hope from that. Here's hoping I have your success. Really, good show, old boy, I also have enjoyed reading you, though I have not been on here long, and wish you more success in the future!

Add my congratualtions to the pile, I had a poem published in an anhtology in my teens but stopped writing poetry shortly afterwards. I still want to write but I have a dream of completing my epic (oh well one of these days!!)

WD's book is excellent. I read the entire thing in one evening. It left me wanting more.

When's the next one out, WD? :)

Congratulations, WD. That is quite an accomplishment in a very competitive arena.
