Noor, Chocolate makes everything better. Right now, for me it's Pirugina all the way. As for bellydancing....it's about as much fun as you can have with your clothes on, a great workout and a chance to channel that "inner goddess"

I took a bellydancing class years & years ago. I enjoyed myself and felt like a sex goddess until I opened my eyes & saw my reflection in the mirror in the studio. Thank goodness I didn't have anyone in my life to show my inner goddess too at that time.

Mitsouko, I've been belly dancing less than a year. Had you asked me that question in my first session, I would have said that it's terribly difficult, but as you get used to it, it gets easier and it's too much fun to miss.

It's a great workout for the abs, and every where else for that matter...It's also a great work out for the upper back because you frequently have your arms up.

Denae, I understand EXACTLY what you mean about the mirror. What a frightening thing! I happen to be a larger woman and my biggest fear was looking at that mirror. The class that I'm in and the instructor's who teach it seem to have the philosophy that it doesn't matter what size the dancer but whether or not she can dance. That belly dancers are MEANT to have curves because that's what makes it interesting. Once I calmed down about that a little it was easier to watch myself, and it's easier to improve if you know what your doing incorrectly. Don't get me wrong, I still have "Jabba the Hut" moments, but it helps when the skinny girls in class comment on how well you do something.

I have some problems with shoulder shimmies because once my breasts start moving, they kind of throw me off. I suppose if I strapped them down better....

well, ccnyman, as far as I know, bellydancing and biting are mutually exclusive hobbies of mine. I just thought that perhaps Noor should put that little disclaimer in when introducing me. It's kind of like, "Do not operate heavy machinery while using this product", or "runs with scissors"

Noor I think the trick to that one is a really good bra.....I've seen some of the costume and wondered how they don't fall out of them....
