I have been a long term reader and lover of this site for a fair few years now and wish to give something back, so here I am in the Editors section...
I'm an Irish engineering student (stories are true about difficulty but I do have spare time every now and again
)
Personally I prefer reading stories that tell about anything that is impossible in today's world, whether it be time travel, dragons, the future or anything that could be in some way classified under SciFi. Secondly I'm a lover of plot, if there is a plot with sex thrown in as a plot piece it works for me.
Consequently I would feel at home editing SciFi/Fantasy/NonHuman and other related categories. I am fairly adept at catching grammar and spelling mistakes that often go unchecked by word processors, I'm also grand at giving advise in other areas of the story.
As a reader the worst (and sometimes best) thing was the waiting for the next chapter so my goal is that after 24 hours of receiving a script that it would be back in the authors computer, it may stretch a bit beyond that but if it does I'll keep in contact.
And yes this is my first post here...
