The day had started out so well for the daddy/daughter outing that Jack Dowling, 35, had planned on them. He had always been a big gamer since he had been a kid, and he had been trying to get his daughter involved. He had won two tickets to the Florida Game Convention through a contest given by Xeric Corp, an up and coming VR gaming company. After a fun day, at least for him, the two of them were heading back to the hotel when the heavy rain storm struck.

He could barely see the road, let alone the semi truck that had lost control just ahead of them. The ensuing accident was bad. Though neither of them were seriously injured, they both ended up in a coma. They were airlifted to the hospital nearest the convention. IN a strange turn of events, the CEO of Xeric Corp. felt he should take care of them by paying for their medical bills, but also use them as test subjects for a new set of gaming equipment. The equipmment was actually full bodysuits designed to give full sensory input from the game world. As it was untested, they wanted to see how much the equipment could be put through.

The game they had decided to place the two in was a new DnD adventure that would have them pitted against surviving an slow starting zombie apocalypse.

Jack moaned softly as the darkness and throbbing were slowly clearing from his mind. The last things he remebered was a very bright light distorted by a windshiled covered in rain, followed by blackness. Now the darkness was being replaced by the sounds of birds chirping and a cool, but smelly breeze coming his way. It took a few moments before he could open his eyes against the bright sunlight. He growled softly as he shielded his eyes with one hand, looking around.

It was a very large open field that he had found himself in. He was currently sitting down in the middle of some tall wheatgrass, swaying back and forth in the wind. Alarms bells began going off that something was right, so he jump up from the ground quickly. It took a few moments to get his sense of feeling back, feeling some very unfamiliar items on him. He blinked for a moment as he looked down at the puddle that was at his feet, reflecting his image.

"What the hell?"

Cory Dowling groaned as she rolled over in the soft grass. Her screams echoed in her mind and flashes from the accident were burning on her eyelids like hot iron. She stumbled to her feet. This was nowhere near the highway. The sun shone warm on her skin and she shielded her gaze as she glanced out over the lake to her right.

"Daddy?" She called out. No answer. She sighed and wandered to the water's edge. Splashing some on her face she took a minute to consider her reflection. Something was definitely off. She gasped and fell back, her hands flying to her face. The features were similar to her own but not in the way she remembered. More mature. Speaking of which, looking down, she got quite an eyeful and she quickly crossed her arms to cover herself.

"What is going on?" Even at eighteen, she had not been well endowed, but now, there was no missing the massive orbs where her chest had been. She teared up a little in confusion and fear.

"Daddy!" She called again, panicked.

He stands there for a few moments longer, trying to figure out how he managed to get here. However his thoughts are soon interrupted by the sounds of a female voice in the distance calling for Daddy. He soon realizes that Cory isn't in sight. Well, if something happened to her, how would he recognize her anyways?

"Cory!"

He yelled for her once before running towards the sound of the female.

"Cory! Where are you?"

The voice sounds a little like hers, but it was a little more delicate if that was even possible. Portions of his armor clinking together as he ran, making it easy that he could be heard running in the sound of the voice.

"Cory! Cory!"

Cory whirled around on her now shapely ass and saw a large, intimidating man running towards her. "Stay back!" Her voice shaking, she jumped to her feet. "Who are you?!"

She stared at the figure, feeling tears welling in her eyes. Her hand was outstretched in front of her in a stop motion. Without warning, a staff materialized there. She gasped and dropped it, but it flipped upright and floated next to her, awaiting use.

He came up short, stopping a few feet from the beautiful young woman, not realizing that she was his daughter. He held his hands up a little in front of him.

"Whoa there miss. I'm not here to harm you or anything. I'm just trying to find my daughter. I'm not sure exactly where I am or where she is. Her name is Cory, Cory Dowling."

He eyed the floating staff for a moment, wearily.

"I'm her father, Jack. Have you seen her?"
