Interviews to remember

Hi all,

I am developing some roleplays around the idea of a job interview. Three seed ideas below that I would welcome feedback on; and any of your ideas for fleshing out/ developing. Not sure if this is the right place to post this so mods please feel free to move to another area if I've got it wrong.

I am also interested in exploring these ideas in the context of an interveiw conducted by webcam. I am male by the way and the 'you' below is female.

1) The teasing bitch. You are in control of the situation. Dressed immaculately with perfect hair and make up. Elegantly sexy but definitely not slutty. You know I fancy you, as all men do. You take pleasure in seeing me squirm. You 'accidentally' show me glimpses of sexual parts of your body, e.g. bending forward to show a little cleavage; hitching up your skirt and showing a little thigh. You do not need the job or my approval. It simply amuses you to stoke my desire but deny its release. I would stumble over my words while interviewing you, and you'd say things like 'are you ok?' but without sympathy, simply curious, as if scientifically observing a curious creature. As if you don't know you are the cause of my flustered behaviour. Eventually you might 'realise' the effect you are having on me and then become deliberately provocative.. 'I bet you would like to touch me here' again with a n air of scientific detatchment. If you do eventually allow me to see some nakedness you would be broed and dismissive: 'are you happy now, is that all you wanted?'rl

2) The desperate girl. You are honest and hardworking. You are dressed very demurely and do not flirt. You are respectful and eager to please, slightly scared. But it is quickly evident from your answers that you do not have the skills required to do the job. You become flustered and may cry. I am about to terminate the interview, but you are so desperate for money you plead with me to employ you anyway. I pause. I am not cruel, but I have to ask myself what could you do? I ponder some options and then the idea occurs to me that you could be my sexual plaything - employed solely for that purpose. So I then start a new 'interview' with that job in mind. I examine your body by ordering you to get undressed and show me certain parts one by one. I test you by asking you to talk dirty or get in certain positions. You recoil at first and are reluctant, but comply when I remind you this is the only option for paid employment.

3) The curious free spirit. You are open, honest, adventurous and confident. You think of sex as play. The interview would go really well, quickly establishing rapport as equals, and drift easily into mutual flirting and personal talk aoutside the realm of the professional skills and experience related to the job. You may say things with a smile like 'I shouldn't tell you but glasses are a real turn on for me'. This would turn into a discussion of fantasies and then into a more intense sexual experience, with the thought that 'we may as well start as mean to go on'.

Idea 1 strikes me as somewhat unrealistic. A woman that is attractive, elegant, does not need a job and yet is mean enough to tease cruelly? Why? It's quite a bother to go through; what would her motivation be? Maybe if, say, a friend of hers has been unjustly rejected for the same position, or if the company where she's appying sells a product she's had a bad experience with... but still, it seems stretched.

Idea 2 has been exploited ad nauseam - even if it's often to both writers' and readers' great pleasure. I guess it's a little black dress of ideas - a sure bet, but great only if you can add a detail or two which make it stand out.

Idea 3 is definitely most intriguing. One would get to meet two people who don't have to break any moral rules in order to flirt and have fun. Depending on the choice of the characters and the kind of job she's applying for, it could develop into many interesting directions.

Thanks very much for this feedback Cara. I like your take on all 3 ideas. The second is a cliche, but might be interesting if it developed in an unexpected way, for instance if she somehow managed to turn the balance of power mid way.

Motivation is weak in no.1, and I like your ideas for depth there. But I am most intrigued by your interest in no.3 as this was the least intense in my imagination originally. I would be interested to see where you would go with this one, as I guess it has the potential to be the most real.

I kinda like #3. In my mind, I see a woman interviewing a guy for the job. After the interview turns into a discussion worthy of a date, the guy finally asks, "so do I get the job?".
The woman replies, "do you mean the job with the company where you get a pay check, or the blow job I'd love to give you?"

Where I would go? I'm afraid I've got too much on my hands at the moment to go anywhere with it. I was hoping you would write it so I could read it

In my opinion, you should go with whatever gets your juices flowing, as it is th eonly way to write something good. I was merely pointing out that the first two are, well, porn, while the third might develop into something erotic, something more diffucult to come by; something, if you will, that gets me from cold and indifferent to running my hands ove rmy body and discovering I'm suddenly in a very good mood
The first two ideas make use of external conflict, while the third would leave its characters the choice between what they should do and what they want to do. I'm very aware of the power of non-consent scenarios, but they're usually somewhere between elemental and plain boring; leading your characters through a maze of shoulds and shouldn'ts is more challenging, granted, but if you can pull it off, I know I'd want to read it. That's just me lately. I skim over porn yawning. Two people doing a kind of a mental strip-tease dance - yes, I'd like to see that. It seems I'm not the only one, too

Another idea...

A ditzy/naive girl is just out of college and goes for a job. She lacks both the experience and the qualifications necessary for the job, but the unscrupulous interviewer sees a chance to get a quick fuck with a hot 18 year old girl. He tells her that there are other applicants who are better qualified for the job, but he's willing to offer her the position, if she's willing to strip naked there and then and him fuck her. He might have to suggest that the job is even better than it is, perhaps hinting at business trips to exotic locations and massive yearly bonuses, and he might even hint at this being a test of her loyalty and willingness to toe the company line. The girl is dubious, but eventually surrenders herself to the lecherous interviewer's perverted desires. Of course, she doesn't get the job, but what can she do about it? Perhaps the interviewer could even drag it out over two or three meetings, and share her with some of his equally unscrupulous colleagues.
