Brainy I have been thinking about your post and i think that your friends are jealous because you have the guts so to speak to go for what you want. I think that they dont understand your desires and your preference.

I have had the same with a few of my friends when they met my black girlfriend a long time ago and i told them that they are afraid that they may enjoy the person.

I've been in a couple of interracial relationships, the first didn't go beyond dating because she got so much flack about dating a white guy.

But the second was the most satisfying relationship I've ever been in... we just clicked on all levels. Of course the sex was amazing and I didn't think about it at the time but the color contrasts added exponentially to the pleasure.

That relationship pretty much sealed the deal for me... since then the only relationships that I actively pursue with real passion are those that involve women of color.

Just want to drop in and see how everyone was doing...

I have a question concerning inter-racial dating...I am from Lousiana originally, and when my parents found out I was dating a Hispanic woman, they were some what upset. If it wasnt for the support of my Uncle, things would have gotten ugly between the 3 of us. I feel you can't help or stop the person you fall in love with, I don't give a shit what color they are..sorry got a little carried away...I know if my daughter were to bring home a purple man, as long as he treated her with respect, and offered her a good life and to provide for her, and be there for her when she needed someone...then he is a man.

My question is this, has anyone else been put down, made fun of or just plain disowned by loved ones due to the person they wish to have in thier live's color?

Thank you for the compliments. His mother does not approve, but never voices her opinion about it. She has always been very freindly, although we both know her true feelings. My family is totally accepting of our relationship. Also, we have never had any problems with strangers. Only a few occasions we have gotten dirty looks are from some black men and some white women, both, of which you could count on one hand.

Funny thing, one time we got dirty looks from another interracial couple. She was white and he was black. We laughed our collective white and black asses off. We found that, very funny. By the way, I am 42 and he is 52. We live in the largest city in the south.

My father had a cow when I had my first interracial relationship because i was still living in his house and he was raised in a different generation. But when i got married it was funny because he said even if i did marry outside of my race he would be supportive. Now how left handed is that comment.

He has gotten better over the years but I still hear some of his comments every once in awhile.

MY soon to be ex is white. But when the time comes to date again it wont matter what race they are as long as we treat each other with respect. And i hear you DC my setiments exactly if I had children and my son or daughter brought home another race as long as they treat my child appropriately then i have no problem.

I tell you that is my main focus on life, to find someone I can grow with, who loves me for me, and has fun being around me. If she happends to black, hispanic, white, asian, indian...I don't care. I personally have never slept with a black woman, I did go out with a black girl as a double date thing with a friend. It wasn't a blind date, we had met, she was very beautiful, but when we kissed, it felt wierd like my sister. I had known her for about 2 years. I must admit, I have a soft spot in my heart and hard spot in my pants for hispanic and Middle Eastern women, DAMN, such sex appeal.

Well, personally, I don't care the race, height, weight, etc. Tall or short, fat or thin, big tits, tiny titties or no tits, regardless of skin color; it just doesn't matter.
