I received a tip that one of my stories was posted here (without my permission), and I noticed a lot of other stories that I recognized from Lit - if you don't wish your stories to be used without your permission, or wish to receive credit for them (this other site does not mention authors unless specifically asked to, apparently), you might want to go check if your work is there.

I've PM'ed her and I think several others have, too. She does like to prevent things like this.

In my story all of the quotation marks were removed. The paragraphing is all fucked up. The italics are gone. It was broken into two pieces exactly like it was broken into two pages here at Lit. I am not mentioned in connection with the story. Neither are any of the other authors.

My story is archived on a Lycos server.

I checked the site and found none of my stories there, the only good thing to come out of being a less than recognized Lit. author. I did take notice of a few things though...

Has it been 48 hours since Laurel notified them?

SciGuy's Pushing Iron is still posted there.
Mickie's Virgin Princess Ch. 5 though it's just called Virgin Princess there, and it's in two parts.
Athena_e19's For the Love of Botany, ch's 1-4 are there, compacted and made into two parts.
Couture's Harriet Hotter ch.01 though I'm sure she's alread noticed that.
Akito01's The Perils of Lynn213 is there.
Henry D. Rinehart's Full Interface is also there.
Between Rinehart's story, Akito01's story, and SciGuy's story, they've stolen the entire Fantasy section of thier site.

Those are just a few that I noticed. I'm wondering if they didn't fill half thier site or more with stories stolen from Lit. authors...

I think that's exactly what they did, talk about shortcutting site development! (and it looks more like 80-90%).

The Dutch based site on which I also post has been ripped off too. The webmaster there has promised to explain to "Chantal" in their own language what (s)he is doing that is illegal.

The kind of reply one gets from "Chantal" is:

Who to protect, a commercial site that makes money with your stories?

Or my free site I make no money with it I have banners for link exchange and banners for my web hosting, and sex banners for my old provider how host now my domain name so only service for advertising.

But nothing for myself I don't want to make any money with my web site it's my hobby not my work.

Everybody tell I have stolen and rip the stories but it was not me that get this stories from Literotica.com but a reader from my web site who send me many stories in zip files and I get many stories from the news groups, I never heard from Literotica.com to now.

I try to make a deal with every body the webmaster(s) of Literotica.com want nothing now about a deal. Even a link to do something good for the error I make, there give me this replay: Providing a link does not protect you from stealing copyrighted material. Take it down.

But I be happy to make already 6 new writer friends that will help my web site with new stories. And I help the writers to let more people read there stories.

I really hope you want also be one of them. Your hobby is writing my hobby is running a real 100% free web site with many good stories.
