I think this is pretty cool.
Prince's websites go back to 1994, so they're a sort of overview of what was nec plus ultra in webdesign at the time.

At the time of his death I don't think he had a "proper" website anymore, although I might be wrong.
He did however embrace Twitter and had a a Tidal site.

Just a quick note to say: Great Name(Brollyanna) makes me grin everytime i see it.
Prince definitely was media savvy, cool find.

Thanks! :)

Prince was extremely media savvy as well as a creative visionary, which makes his choices really interesting. Some of my friends in the web creating market find themselves advising more and more of their clients to concentrate on social media instead of a traditional website.

The meta matching and pin point advertising offered by most social media platform is soo technical these days, it makes sense for most brands that are looking for consumers to use them rather than just the good old 'top of the pile' on a boogle search tactic which is only really relevant to those that activley look for the product..
If your audience is me, unfortunately your screwed Prince' estate as i am not social or media friendly at all... Lol i rely on people posting links on Lit to find out the cool stuff;) :D

Lots of chuckles looking at the timeline in the link.

Prince likely had nothing to do with any of it, as they were marketing promo tools for his various projects... But it was still interesting to flip through.

Prince had his hand in everything. His last minute late night dance parties at Parsley Park were his doing, and his inviting via twitter.

No doubt!

Web sites? Not as much involvement as parties, i say.

It's guaranteed Prince isn't going to make a penny from any websites as his pimps still milk him for all he's worth - even dead.
