Just curious...on how much you pay for internet?

Just got our bill ... and hubby (separated but unfortunately have to live together) has not stopped using his server so this month's bill was $500. Which is insane since he doesn't work.

I get DSL through my cable company... so my Cable and internet bill are linked... so I get cable with an HBO package, plus DSL comes out to a little ove 100 a month

When I read the title of this thread......I thought that "Internet Bill" was perhaps a character for the internet, much like Ronald McDonald.

I pay about $30.00 per mo through Earthlink.

Yes...they sound like normal amounts. More realistic.

He thinks that I will pay $175. and that they will keep it on. Well maybe. But he will be surprised when I don't. I would rather spend that money on our son...since Daddy has forgotten about him this Christmas.

£35/month for DSL, shared between 6 of us. Plus an extra one-off £100 or so for the router and cabling and installation, plus we have to have a phone line connected.

Edited to add: no download limits, no connection time limits.

At home, I am on a basic dail up account of $25.95 a month, with a maximum connection time of 4 hours before i get disconnected.

Work (where I am now), is DSL.... $92.99 a month, 3 gig a month download limit.

Years ago...we started an isp and we only charged people $24.95. Unlimited access.

Like I have told him before...he has a spending problem...even if he doesn't have money. He will go out and charge things...and never pay them off. Which is bad...since his credit history will affect mine...if I am not wrong.

Shaw Cable in BC has a deal for basic cable (channels 2-28) plus light-speed cable for the net for $39.99/month - unlimited access.

We used to be on Shaw...but he ran up the bill there. We have a friend living with us...so when the friend moved in (hubby and he) they decided it was a good thing to go back to Shaw cable for tv and part of the other guy's internet.

$70 a month for satellite connectivity. Not as good as DSL or cable, but those aren't available here - only dialup and satellite.
