Inspiration

So, who was or is the person that inspired you the most? Name one or all your inspirations and a breif explanation as to why.

Mine are:

My high school drama teacher, Miss Hart. She inspired me to learn all I could and be the best person/actor I could be.

My hubby, for he inspires the good in me to come out.

Madonna inspires me to be who I am and fuck what others think.

That is great. More educators should be inspiration to kids, but they aren't for some reason.

My Literature teacher in high school was a wonderful inspirator, I was luck enough to have him sophomore and senior years. He pushed me to write, to think, and to search for more than the obvious. In a way, he made me the opinionated wench that I am today.

Margaret Atwood. Her book A Handmaid's Tale was the first "political" and "grown up" novel I ever read. Absolutely floored me. Changed my whole perspective at the tender age of 13 of reality and perception. Her other books either inspire or disappoint me, but nothing comes close to that initial WOW.

Vonnegut, because he is the coolest person I could ever wish to meet. What a mind!

As far as my own personal muse, I am still looking and hoping.

My mom - A woman who had the strength to raise a lil young hellion (that being me) by herself all while being told by various family members that as a 21 year old mom she was going to fail.. And a woman now who I consider more of a great friend than a mother.

My junior high school history teacher. He demanded the best his students could give and he always got it.
