Inspiration Needed Please?

Hello all,

I need some help with a story I’m working on, I have the main concept of the story planned out however I am struggling to dream up a really feasible idea for the persuasion or blackmail. Plausibility has always been a strong factor of my work. I don’t like lame and weak plots that leave the reader thinking – ‘Yeah right! As if?’

So I’m hoping for some inspiration from the collective brain-power around here. I have my young female victim who I plan to be persuaded by fair means or foul to attend an isolated barn where three young men are planning to have her strip for them. She will have some notion of what is going on and I would rather she went along with plans, even if reluctantly, than simply be abducted.

There are too many situations that could lead to this... please expand on what you want to happen in the barn, and if possible, prior experiences with any of the three men.

There's ton's of cliched coercions for this situation on the web involving pictures, evidence of cheating/ infidelity/ embezzlement/ etc.

Does your plot concept absolutely require "blackmail" or would something the three boys can do for her (that she can't get any other way) do? From the brief description, the three boys sound like "nerds" who need some edge to get a girl to strip for them; perhaps they've hacked the computer at school or her work to plant some flase information or can remove some information she doesn't want found.

Perhaps she's an undercover police officer who is doing this to get close to them? Or it's their price for turning over some evidence for a cas eshe's obsessed with.

If all else fails, "filthy lucre" is a plausible excuse for just about anything -- Young ladies who need money can be induced to do some rather outrageous things to get it.

Without knowing the nature of the four characters, it's difficult to tailor somthing plausible to justify the "orgy in the barn" scenario.

My victim is a young woman 18-20 years old. The three males are local character's known to her and on relatively friendly terms. All are virgins, probably, rape is not on their minds, although the idea of seeing a naked female, especially my lead lady, is highly desirable. Without wishing to cause a local stink or have her run to the police, they need to come up with a scheme that will entice her to accommodate their demands and keep quiet about it.

I had thought about financial gain, but felt this probably wouldn’t be enough to persuade her. However, it was my fall back option.

Actually, thinking about it, something they could do for her in return might work, though finding what may not be so easy, but it is an option worthy of consideration - thank you for that.

What will happen in the barn - they intend to investigate the wonders of the female form, a voyage of discovery that might lead anywhere!!

What about one of them deceive her entire class as acting as her substitute teacher... then luring her to the barn...

One is a vamp... mystifies her... she's under his intoxicating spell...

She innocently stumbles on them playing cards and the stakes become more daring?

One's a stable hand and she's interested in the new teacher, who just so happens to be one of his friends...

They surprise her with a graduation party where she's the only guest?

There are endless stories here.

She is offered a job as a stripper or for posing for a men's magazine and she wants their advice.

Make 'em squirm.

That's not a bad idea at all, though it might not fit with what I had in mind it has given me something to think about for another plot - thank you for that Nushu2

She gets a fake message from someone (probably another female) she trusts who begs her to meet them at the barn because of some vital, but unspecified, reason.

A Barn implies the presence of livestock and stereotypical young women usually have a fascination with Horses -- perhaps they they can entice her to the barn -- which just haooens to be at a clothing optional resort -- with information about a good deal on a horse.

She goes to inspect a horse and they wind up inspecting her.

Alcohol has made an enormously large number of people do incredibly stupid things that seem perfectly plausible at the time. For example, going to an isolated location with 3 guys that you sort of know and basically trust not to leave you for dead…

Not that I know this first-hand...
