Do I suffer from insomnia?.

I don't have any trouble going to sleep.

Staying asleep is my problem.

Probably. Are you stressed out at the moment?

Have you tried drinking milk or taking some Melatonin before bed?

Reading or masturbating (most times both) always helps me clear my mind of anything stressful that has gone on during the day or is about to go on tommorow..

No,I'm never stressed,and I don't drink before bed.

Just another reason to wake up if I do.

I usually just read about masturbating and I still cant sleep what am I doing wrong?

I have sleep apnea (however that's spelled heh) It keeps me from sleeping through the whole night and it stresses me out, So I have problems falling asleep as well....heh.

Reading-for at least 30mins.

Masturbation-haven't done that myself for the last 12 years.

Sometimes reading a boring book is what works... *shrugs*

Some people - like Pezzers - just have hard times falling asleep period even when the mind is clear.

But I think I know what Pezzer's problem is.. I mean if I had such a bouncy and fun personality like she does, I'd have a hard time falling asleep too! :D

:D Me bouncy?! NEVA! LOL

I eventually fall asleep. I think it's from exhaustion though. ;)

I don't really sleep all that much. Cannot really except with pills. The whole perchance to dream thing freaks me out. Hope you get over it.

Whoaaa I think maybe you need to get reaquainted with your lefty/righty or both if you are ambidextorious.

Move to New Zealand, that might help you stay asleep....

Oh hold on, maybe it won't....

That would depend on how close I get to certain New Zealanders.

So when you take a stroll around your pond before bed at night..... take matters in hand then. ;)

Insomnia sucks. I know.

Insomnia
by debbiexxx ©
Frequently sleep does evade me
Yet I continue to search, endlessly
For this inhuman, reclusive non entity,

An elusive moment in time or place
Sleep has no human body or face
Yet I still seek it’s relaxed space

"Tis human to err, to make a mistakez"
And yet often, from slumber, I awake
Hoping, The all knowing my soul will take

Insomnia again rules my life
by debbiexxx ©
Late at night, sleep is an elusive creature
I see before me the corridors of my mind
Each night runs the same double feature
I cannot sleep, sweet slumber I cannot find

You of the blessed, sleep undisturbed, peace
I instead toss to and fro and turn or lay prone
Fantasise I do, of warm sleep a wish or caprice
To find, touch the Mistress’s magical sleep throne

To find an end to the tortures of a sleepless night
My body screams, I need sleep but the demon wins
I seldom dream, hoping for a sleeper’s helper, sprite
Wondering what ails me, so confess my many sins

I drag my weary body through the next day, hoping
Needing to find a cure, I ache all over, I wish to fade
Give me peace, pure bliss of a few hours a sleeping
Is it a disease, incurable, I feel so empty, betrayed

Twisting, turning, thoughts jumbled in my mind
Am I perhaps insane? Have I forgotten my madness?
Through the corridors, bends, sleepless resigned
Praying for sleep, my body cries, oh please bless

Enrich my tired body with a calming, serene peace
Fold the quilt upon my inert, quiet, slumbering body
Endless nights, eternal never-ending evenings cease
Find me where insomnia cannot reach, I beseech thee

I have had insomnia for years. Kavakava gives me relief
when I am exhausted. http://www.kavakava.org.uk/
Otherwise I post or lurk at lit when I cannot sleep.

I hope you can sleep well soon. Wishing you sweet dreams.
Whatever/whoever you wish them to be about. :)

Love the poems even though you make me feel inadequate cos
my poetry sucks.

No more pills for me,I already rattle when I walk.

I suppose the odd thing is I don't feel tired, just hate waking up
4 or 5 times a night.

I understand the rattling feeling. Hubby feels this way often enough. Too many pills suck.
Kavakava is a natural product that the people of Samoa have used for centuries. When I take it? I may wake but for only a few minutes before slipping back into a blissful sleep. I have no side effects. No drowsy feeling when I wake. I wake feeling like I have slept for hours instead of hours of disturbed sleep.

My poetry is just mere words, strung together as I see fit.
I would love to see your poetry, for me? There is no such thing as poetry sucks. It's all about expressing what you think/feel/experience through words.
