insert a full size pic

I can insert a pic as an attachment but I don't know how to insert a pic so it just shows and nobody has to click the attachment.

If the pic exists on the web, then use the Insert Image button

If it's an attached image, first upload the image as normal. Then go back and edit the post after obtaining the url of the newly attached image.

FYI, there is a size limit on attachments.

So, your best bet may be to host your image at one of the many free image hosting sites (if it's an adult image, you'll need to use a site that allows such images; google 'free adult image hosting' or use something like Picasa online) and then hotlink the image.

FYI, there is a size limit on attachments.

There is also a reason that attachments aren't configured to display automatically -- the attachment database here at Lit is much larger than most other vBulletin based forums and forcing the attachments to display puts a huge load on the servers, which slows down the forums for everyone.
