Hi there.

I just thought I would let people here know that the best way to deal with people who post hateful remarks, is to first report the posts to a moderator, and then click the ignore button in that specific posters post. Don't quote or reply to them in anyway, because that's what they want.

The moderators will then look at the posts, and most likely delete the hateful remarks, leaving no trace behind after them. If you have quoted them, then there's a chance that your post will be delete as well, because we don't want their remarks to show up at all.

Thank you Shy... I'll heed this advice from now on.
Not being experienced with these nutcases, the first time PimpRob posted to my thread a week or so ago, I sat down and cried. OMG my feelings were hurt so bad! But I got alot of pm's from lit regulars, telling me not to worry.
Yes I have replied to subsequent posts, not knowing any better til now.
Thanks for your help, for watching out for us

thanks for the info!

I pulled my pics as a result of the creeps and their idiotic remarks.

Thanks for the advice! There are a lot of jerks on this board who ruin it for everyone.

Who knows? Maybe I'll come back one of these days, but for right now I'll just look.

Thanks for all your help with pulling off my threads and for moderating the punks on this Board :)

With all do respect, as a long time Lit. member also. When Lit. started , there was NO censorship and you were free to speak your peace with out having o worry if you posted something that was true but might God forbid upset someone or something a moderator might not like.
Lit would never ban anyone but there were a few situation where laws were broke and they did ban a couple that I know of and they should have.
What’s the deal? We all have hung out on “love” fest boards. I think this is what set Lit. apart from the other boards. So If I call someone fat or ugly then you remove the post if I read this correctly?
I am not a troll , never posted under another name but my own and I have flamed many under my own name but let me say this is bullshit! So it appears to me that Lit. is now falling under censorship also.
Do I understand this correctly Shyguy?
Thank you for you input on this.

Wizard.

This practise is mainly for trolls who have only one mission, which is to post hateful remarks.

There are examples where people have been "fighting" with each other, and those posts I do leave.

The removal of hateful posts, is with Laurels approval https://forum.literotica.com/showthread.php?s=&postid=7358711&#post7358711

I look closely at every post that I remove, and I don't always remove posts that people report, since I also like the fact that lit support free speech.

I hope this makes sense.

Thank you shyguy for shedding some light on the topic and posting the link you did.
I understand what your saying and it is cool with me but It seems unfortunately Lit’s no censorship rule has changed to we do now censer and that bums me out. That was always one of the things I liked about Lit. we all didn’t have to be politely correct and could speak the way we feel. (I understand how you remove things but they still get removed) I am a firm believer that a lot of folks live in a fantasy world and need to see the real world the way it is and like the right to tell it the way I see it.
Again thank you for shedding a little light on this. Personally I don’t agree with it and if they can’t handle comments then don’t post. We all have been victim of a good flaming because of actions in the past ,be it a comment or a picture.
I certainly will respect the rules of the board and carry on, I just was looking for some input on this and you helped me out there.
Thanks man…..

Re: Re: Re: Re: Info about trolls who post hateful remarks.

Wiz, pardon me for telling a guru how to post, but why bother telling someone they are fat or whatever. Just click a different link. It is small minded and reveals something about a persons own life when they post hateful remarks about someone else. Life must be boring, either that or they are gutless in the real world, but would love to have the courage to say something. So they do it under the guise of a screen name.
I dont know if this is you or not but I think its a valid observation of such people. No matter what a person looks like they shoul not be ridiculed for having the courage to post here or anywhere.

Oh yeah, its not sensorship, its common courtesy and decency that all people should be able to expect. Delete the wankers, they have too much time on their hands, oh yeah I addressed that already (wankers). :D

Like youself we are all aloud to think and say what we wish..
You could say if ya can't handle the heat say out of the kitchen.
In real life we can still say what we wish and for years we could here also.

Rights are a funny thing. In some situations we must choose one right over the other as they are mutually exclusive. When 2 rights conflict, as they often do, the one of lesser impact is supreme. There is significantly less impact banning trolls than allowing mindless ridicule, especially considering you are under no obligation to look.

Censorship, what planet are you on? Is it censorship to prevent lit type images appearing on a Disney site, no its common sense. Get over it.

Love fest boards? You can always start your own "hate fest board". Not sure how many subscribers you'd get. Guess thats why you want to do it here.

As you said, the NEW rules are here, if you cant handle the heat stay out of the kitchen.
