Infertility

This sounds a lot like what my ex had. She was 38 and had been told for years by her doctor (who she had to see a lot) that she couldn't get pregnant, not even with fertility treatments. With that in mind, we had unprotected sex (despite both of us knowing we weren't a long-term match), and suprise surprise, along comes my daughter. She's perfectly healthy and a complete shock to everyone. Don't give up, it doesn't happen for everyone, but there's always a chance. I think adoption is a beautiful thing (giving a child a chance at a better life), but I can empathize with you about how much you want to have your own. Just follow your heart...you'll do the right thing.
