Welcome to the AH, sr (if you will forgive me shortening your name), and you have my condolences about the troll votes. Some of us do understand the need to vent, and I would ask that you not let the negative responses keep you from exploring the board a bit further.

It was interesting how quickly people attacked him on this thread.

I offered condolences in PM form, but he's not certain he'll be back.

I haven't had a chance at his stories, but he has 24 up, most with red H's.

He's doing something correctly. Perhaps he had a legitimate beef about the trolls.

the problem is that there is no way to tell if a "1" is sincere or trollish.
nor if a "5" is sincere, or just your mom.

i and other have made proposals to deal with this, e.g each week, adjust the ratings, through out the top and the bottom 5%.

it would also help if you could not vote, for say, a month after registering.
