I was just wondering.. Does anything match that magical feeling that one has right at the beginning of a pottential relationship? You know,when you know you're an adult,but feel like a 14 year old when she comes online - heartbeat, sweaty palms and all. And then you hear her voice for the first time and you just melt with delight... Oh and how about those text messages and emails that keep you awake at night wondering what she REALLY meant with that quirky comment And then you go for coffee, and you can't stop staring at this beauty, and you wonder why you are allowed to exprience this amazing feeling of wanting to be with her.

Yes.. I know that feeling And, yes, it IS quite wonderful. I recently felt that way but had to let it go for different reasons. But I think you describe it well.
That person consumes your thoughts all day.. you cant stop thinking about them and the comments they make. They make your heart race and a smile instantly appears on your face whenever you hear from or think about them. You fall asleep thinking about your last conversation or just thinking naughty thoughts about them- wondering what would happen if you were able to get together with them alone....

I feel silly writing these things but I guess this is what your were looking for?

i think that's just it. It feels "silly" even childish in a way, but we so need fun and lightness in our lives. We should allow the innerchild to come and play more often.

For me, some kind of nesting instinct seems to set it. I suddenly have a lot of energy to take care of things, like my apartment.

True, but ther's always the very real possibility of "what if..." The chase is so exciting, yet the uncertainty is still there.

lol! And it's like you WANT to have a life, just so she doesnt think you're pathetic, but u also want to be online for incase she is. And u check your mobile phones (yes both of them - work and private, as she has both numbers) 7 times an hour to see if there are any messages. Oh and then there's the difference in time-zones. So you go to sleep as late as possible, as she might just be waking up...

is'nt the wonder of love so awsome that it can totally screw up you life and you just don't care if it does..it's the most beautiful feeling in the world. hoping that they will just call are even leave a note when they come by.
that feeling that you can't breathe and you can't think and all the time you don't want it to stop.the better it gets the more you want and the more you hope you don't do anything wrong to mess it up..knowing full well if you screw this up you will die..your life will be over as if it never happened.
