The subject line says it all really. I have been aware for years that I had subby leanings but aside from some online dalliances I have a total lack of useful experience . All I know is that the idea of being "gently" dominated completely turns my crank. I have been reading the BDSM and non consent stories for ages now but it was just recently that a friend suggested I check out the bulletin boards here. I guess I am really just stopping by to say "hey" and see what kind of things you guys discuss...so..."hey everyone ". I hope you're all friendly !

We are a rather friendly bunch. Check out the stickies at the top of the thread.
the formal place to introduce yourself is there.
There is a great Library sticky that has enough reading material to keep you busy for a few weeks.
otherwise, start browsing the threads, jump in with questions.

Welcome to Lit.
Beware of posers and people wanting to "teach" you how to be a sub. Anyone who says they are a Dom and they know everything should be considered with significant suspicion. Go slow. Know that only YOU know what is right for you. Be careful and if you are uncertain ask questions. Lots and lots of questions.

Be safe.

Edit:
Also...if I were you I would probably not put my Kik address in my signature. This seems too much an invitation to have all kinds prey on you.
May I also suggest you fill out your profile a bit? :)

Consilience and Cascadiabound pretty much summed up everything perfectly as far as I can tell.

So... I guess I'll just say that I am a donut...

Click the BDSM Café link and you'll see the kinds of things generally discussed. Mainly plants, birds, spontaneous annoyances, complaining about the meaninglessness and drawn out brutality that is the human existence, and the ramblings of the many drunkard lunatics that inhabit this satanically perverse land.

All of the above, and sometimes we've even been known to discuss kink!! :D

Welcome aboard, and look forward to seeing you around :)

Man you guys get off topic quickly here! All of a sudden it's all about typing donuts? 😉. Thanks for the words of advice from those who gave them. I am just doing a little wandering around in the site and reading postings and other threads. There seem to be a lot of really interesting, articulate and knowledgeable people on this board. I am impressed. I will take the advice of a previous respondent and fill out my profile details as soon as I get a chance to do so. In the meantime, thanks for the welcome.

So glad you came back and checked in on the thread you started... some of us regulars get a bit of "ants in our pants" when a brand new user makes a thread like this and we wonder if we will ever see them again - thus a bit of silliness sometimes does ensue. But it is all in fun and not intended to be off-putting to you at all. Hope it did not feel like that to you. ;)
Glad to hear that you are wandering around, poking in threads and reading various posts.
Please let me, or anyone else you feel comfortable asking, if you have questions, either on this thread, or by sending a PM.
Good luck and take care. :rose:

Thanks for the support and for all your replies. I posted a bit more information on my profile and also put an intro on the appropriate thread.

You're all very silly! I like that.

I'm kind of new here, but I'm sure the silliness is a bi-product from sugar on the doughnuts. There are no other reasons for keys to become sticky here.
