For those of you in Indiana (or Arizona?), the rest of the world changed time last night.

We need to change our profile options ("User CP" button at the top right of the page) to be in the Central time zone now.

In the fall, we can reset back to Eastern time.

Also, I don't think that Arizona changes time either, but I'm not sure...

(The board system doesn't have a "Eastern - Indiana" time zone option like Windows does. Is there something an administrator can do to add one?)

Thanks for the reminder from a fellow Hoosier

Yo, I was born In St. Marys and lived in Southport until I was twelve. I guess Indianapolis has swallowed up Southport by now. I know they ran the Interstate right slap over my elementary school. Is the Tee Pee resteruant still going. They used to call Indianapolis "sleep town" when I lived there. My dad had a mom and pop grocery store for a while on State and Hoyt. Went to the 500 a few times. Saw Pat O'Connor go over the wall get killed and Bill Vookavitch. Crispmas Attucks (sp) was the hot high school team back then.
We moved to Florida. Boy did that suck.

China too.. no time change. and almost all the Asia. NO time saving.

hehe.. Like I said .:NANANANANANAANANAANN: ENDS with NA*

Useless Trvia

Indiana has three time zones but still exists at least 50 years in the past in regards to resisting change and suspressing anything vaguely immoral......

I have to admit, you Hoosiers drive me nuts. :D I live in Illinois and every time I go east I have to call ahead and find out what time it is in the town I'm going to visit so I'm not an hour early or late when I get there. Maybe I should get someone to write me a computer program that can keep track of Indiana time. It'd save on long distance calls.

:p

Helpfull URL

The Indianapolis Star newspaper did an article on the time zones in IN, if you go to their webpage you should be able to get the map of zones as discussed.....www.indystar.com

You forget about us Indiana people in Lake County. We are always in the central time zone and observe daylight savings time.

Me culpa.

I apologize for being parochial. Indiana has several pockets (mainly towards Chicago and St. Louis) that follow their nearer neighbors, not the state capital. And of course, the whole world doesn't consist of North America (or even Europe!)

And thanks too for the info about Arizona.

I think you mean Louisville or Cincinnati.

St. Louis is a ways from Indiana.
