I have been watching the news out of India and Pakistan today. I know well enough that any conflict in the world is never black and white, but I really think in this case it comes very close.
On one hand you have Pakistan, ruled by a military dictator who seized power in a coup. A country which installed the Taliban in power in Afghanistan. A country which has long been harbouring terrorists, in fact the majority of Al-Qaida terrorists that fled Afghanistan are lying up there now just waiting for the allies to get bored and go home so they can return to their old camps. A country that did nothing to stop truckloads of it's citizens cross the border to fight against America.
On the other hand you have India, the worlds largest democracy. A country which has had to endure casualties from Pakistan trained and equipped islamic terrorists on a scale that equals the 9-11 attacks year after year.
If the US and it's allies are justified in attacking countries that harbour terrorists then surely India has the same right to defend it's citizens.
