I'm planning to write an erotic short story between a brother and sister. The dominant character is the sister ... I just wanted to know how you guys feel about the topic of incest ... it'll be the first time I'll write about it

The brother is more calm and retiring, but very shy when talking to people. They're both runaways since childhood and they've always looked out for each other all the way to adulthood. By this description, some ideas come to mind.
They were friends for years since the day on the playground when Laurence was little.

The big bullies were always picking on him but when Veronica came, she was big enough to completely humiliate the ring leader by giving him a big black eye.
Everyone was talking about how he got beat up by a girl.
Although Veronica liked the attention to her gender, she wanted a more rough and tumble nick name like Rumbling Ron.

As they grew older, Laurence's affection towards Ron grew, but being his sister, he couldn't give in to his feelings.

One day at the pool, Ron started teasing Laurence sexually ("accidentally").

Interesting plot ... I think Laurence should be emotionally dependent on his sister for most things. I think that way her seduction might be more intense. Maybe she might even let Laurence what her while having sex with other men ... or women *giggle*

I don't know if it's "new", a topic like this one must've been exhausted to the marrow lol ... But it's like you said it something that generally popular with readers.

I do have a rough draft thought out and partially written. The story revolves around the middle ages ... (although I think I might switch to a fantasy type world). Ron is a bisexual woman who disguises her appearance as man so as to have easier access to "society". Laurence is her brother who's always been with her on her many adventures.

One day she gets an amulet which grants her mind control powers. The only catch is that the amulet needs "sexual energy" to power itself. The power of the amulet becomes so addictive that she soon seduces her brother ...

That's pretty much what I was thinking

I was just thinking, you could put the parents in too.
Not as sex partners, but as an obstacle to get around to make flirtation and ultimately sex more exciting.

By the way, when quoting multiple people, you should put it all in the same post.
Just a tip for newbies.

I think that watching her should be done more like an unknown Peeping Tom before Ron gets the hint.
Teasing just with nudity is always fun too.

I was thinking a better way to go would be to put a little twist in the story.
Her teasing and sexual flirting could start as revenge, building ever since she caught him peeping at her in the shower (and let him continue).
Since she has no intention of actually going through with it, but rather torment him with these taboo thoughts, she could eventually have these fantasies about him as well, and then they finally realize their dream, which builds the suspense, making you care more about the characters.
