1) there could be a number of reasons, but I think the most common is that its "taboo". I wont get all Freud on you, but (and this is just my guess) the over whelming majority of incest/taboo story fans LOVE the taboo, and a specific kind of story. I.E I love mom/son stories, but you would have to beat me half to death, drug me up on crazy pills and then pay me large sums of cash before you could convince me to ever do anything of a sexual nature with my mother, but I still like the stories.

2) I'm sure there are a few incest stories have some tidbits of embelished reality in them yes. I also think concenting adult incest is a lot more common than people think it is, but few will ever know about others true experiances, most will take it to the grave due to the negative stigma's and myth's that surround it.

I think part of it is that the love between family members is supposed to be really strogn so sometimes its wanting to make them happy or possibly it might be that if you have trust issues, you might think incest a good way to go because if you cant trust your family, who can you trust? I think that boils over into (at least the mom son ones) that theyve taken care of you for so long so why not there too.. damn that didnt come out right

There are some that find pornography more entertaining than sexually arousing. Although, it's almost impossibly not to become aroused in most cases while watching porn. I, for one, collect a wide range of pornography that is by no means normal. They are novelties which I feel comfortable even flipping on for my friends to watch and laugh at. Other types of porn are just plain dirty and that's arousing. "Different" is generally a major turn on.

It's most fantasy, I think. I do know it's not as uncommon as one thinks. Many of us have at least one secret story about their desire for a brother, cousin, aunt, grandfather, ect, ect, ect. If not a desire than a sexually awkward situation with one. It's taboo and therefore fascinating.

Personally, I once met a woman who kissed her little brother. Apparently she taught him how to fuck. Yeah, it weird-ed me out, but I figured they both were enjoying each other, so it wasn't my place to judge them. It did not seem to be hurting anyone. They were both adults and without parents. Neither had girlfriend/boyfriends nor kids. No harm. It was different, but not harmful to anyone other than themselves. In the end it was more fascinating to me than anything. Not that I would ever do something like that to my own sibling, but it made me want to know what made them tick. What was it that drew them together?
