Why do so many people have problems with sexual relationships between adult family members? What goes on between consenting adults shouldn't be any one elses business. For example, a man in his early 40's gets divorced and loses his house. He moves in with his widowed mother who is in her late 50's. Of course most of these people are lying. They used this platform to initiate conversation. Catering to an audience. If it does happen in an age below adulthood, it was either abuse or childhood innocence. Neither which is what people are wanting to hear. If it happens when both are adults, they wouldn’t talk about it to anyone but keep it a secret. I have called out many people claiming to have or had incest.

But it does happen, but if it does, those people are keeping it quiet.

People assume that consensual incestuous relationships are common because they A. think that every "true story" posted here is an actual true story rather than a fantasy and B. fail to recognize that even if some of them were true, they represent a self-selecting group of people that aren't representative of the general population.

Yes. Very astute: We have very nice evidence that homosexuality was common even when it's was common knowledge that god would strike you down. And there's been no explosion of homosexuality since it became legal - or generally accepted.
