Incest and the Dead (Closed for JadeKnight)

Jason groaned softly as his mother nudged him awake. It took him a few moments to wake up and he was almost regretting that he did. He winced as he felt as if every muscle in his body was on fire and very sore at the same time. How he could feel this way was beyond him. The activities of the night before would have left him a bit sore, but nothing like this.

"What's wrong?"

His eyes opened to see his mother was fearfully, scared of something. There was a thump heard against the door to the penthouse, causing him to sit up a little straighter. He winced again at the pain.

"Couldn't you have been a bit little more gentle on me?"

He smiled weakly before he tried to get up. It took a couple of tries to get up, wobbling a little on his feet.

"Give me a couple of minutes and can you find some asprin? I'm sore all over."

Abby stepped back looking at her son. "Oh, I'm sorry dear," she said looking to Jason. She walked around trying to figure out where to check for Aspirin. She walked into the bathroom, the gentle moans of her daughter sleeping soundly startling her a bit as she passed the bedroom. She opened the first aid kit and rummaged through it. There wasn't much in it, but then again - with the way the world had gone to shit, what really would be left? She looked at each bottle - each one almost empty as she finally found the Aspirin bottle. There was only one left in the bottle, the cap fastened at a bad angle that she almost couldn't get it off.

Abby grabbed a robe off the wall of the bathroom and wrapped it around her form before going back to Jason.

"This is all I could find," she said before nearly jumping at the sound of the slight pounding on the barricaded door. "What could it be? A zombie? A person?" she asked handing her son the medication bottle.

He gave Abby a kiss on the lips before taking the bottle from her.

"Thank you."

He looked at the bottle for a moment before popping the top off. He frowned seeing only the one aspirin, but it would have to do. He popped the pill in his mouth, swallowing before answering.

"I don't know, but I'll check it out. Keep the door closed."

He pulled his shirt on before stepping out of the living area. He picked up one of the hunting knifes before walking towards the door, pausing to listen. There was another pound against the door before silence resumed. He carefully pulled the chairs away before pushing the door open and stepping into the elevator hallway.

It took a few moments for his eyes to the dimness of the hallway, the morning sunlight barely coming through the skylights above. He soon spotted a zombie on the floor, dragging himself around by his hands. It noticed Jason, but just continued to drag itself around the parimeter of the hallway.

"Ok..why aren't you coming after me?"

Jason watched the zombie for a few more moments before walking over and stabbing it through the head. Once it was dead, he looked for where the zombie could have come from. It turned out that the zombie had been on top of the open elevator and fell through the emergency hatch that had popped open.

Satisfied everything else was secure, Jason knocked on the penthouse door.

"It's ok Abby. Bring out a large towel or something."

Abby waited by the door, hoping that Jason was alright. She looked around when he said to bring out a towel. She wasn't sure why but she found one and brought it to the door. She peered through the cracked open door and looked until she saw him. She opened it the rest of the way. She looked down the hall and noticed it was a zombie. The legs were gone up to the knees and there was a huge hole in its head where Jason must have delivered the killing blow. "I think we need to check the other rooms. Your sister and I are going to need clothes." She sighed thinking about it. "I hate to think we'd be stealing peoples belongings but are they really going to need them?" she asked.

"We need to do what we need to in order to survive."

He gave Abby a kiss for a moment before he rolled the dead zombie onto the towel. He dragged it into the open elevator, leaving it for the time being. It would most likely end up dumped into the street, but he could take care of that later.

"We try and find clothes for you and Becky later. Why don't you go and make breakfast? I want to check something out, but it shouldn't take but a few minutes. Keep the door barricaded till you hear me yell."

He didn't want to worry the girls about what happened with the zombie just yet. He had an idea, but felt it needed to be tested first. It would be insane and life-saving if what had happened earlier also happened with more zombies.

Abby smiled looking to her son. She tilted her head at his suggestion but went along with it. "Um, okay.." she said walking back into the room, closing the door back. She walked into the small kitchen area wondering what was in there that she could use. Much to her surprise, there were eggs and actual sausage. Bacon too. She could make a decent meal for them. Then her heart sank. If one zombie could get in, then it wouldn't be safe for them much longer. She hollered out across the deck area into the open bedroom area. "Becky, breakfast dear.." she said.

Becky stirred slowly, her mind thinking that they were back home until her eyes adjusted to the light filtering into the room. She slowly got up and found a silk robe hanging on the wall, wrapping it around her form. She walked across the deck, the dried blood spills near the pool reminding her of the hell they were in.

She sat down at the small bar, looking around. "Where's Jase?" Becky asked her mother.

Abby smiled. "He'll be right back, he's making the hotel safe for us. Sausage?" she asked pushing a plate of sausage across to Becky.

The young blonde smirked then chuckled. "Oh, I had some last night!"

Abby leaned in whispering in her daughter's ear. "So did I..."

Jason paused for a moment as he closed the door to the emergency stairwell behind him. He could hear a few moans, scraping against the wall, and the occasionally thumped as a zombie fell down somewhere. Leaning over the railing, he could see some movement a few floors down, but nothing alarming yet. He took a deep breathe for a moment, steadying his nerves.

"Let's do this..."

Gripping the knife a little tighter, he walked cautiously down to the emergency door of the fourteenth floor. Closing the door behind him, Jason found himself bathed in the red hue of the emergency lights. He nearly tripped over a dead body of a female teenager, her clothes ripped to shreds. It looked as if she had been feasted upon by a group of zombies, left to rot.

"Guess the lucky ones don't turn..."

He attention was drawn to an open door, the sound of something getting knocked over. He cursed at not bringing a flashlight, but decided to venture inside the room. The door opened silently inward before thumping against the wall. The front portion of the room was bathed in red as Jason moved inside.

He jumped as a zombie suddenly emerged into the light from the bathroom, moaning. He didn't have time to react as the zombie bumped into him, pushing him back. However, instead of lunging at him, the zombie sniffed the air for a moment. It paused for a moment before sniffing the air again before turning to shuffle back towards the bathroom. Smiling to himself, Jason lifted the knife and stabbed the walker in the back of it's head.

The walker dropped to the floor, dead. Jason pulled the knife out before stepping further into the room. He was greeted by a young female zombie, dressed in a bloody nightie. This one took a curious sniff before turning back to the closed curtains, meeting the same fate as her partner. Sunlight flooded the room as he pulled open the curtains so he could search the room.

His search turned up a bag of high-class jewelry the dead woman had brought with her, including some diamond rings, richly jeweled necklaces, and bracelets. Deciding to giving them to his sister and mother, he left the room with only those. He went back upstairs, knocking loudly on the penthouse door.

"ABBY! Becky! Open up!"

Abby and Becky were carrying on in decent conversation. It was as if an entire fog had been lifted off of their lives allowing them to converse in such a way now. They were joking about past lovers and even when the topic of Becky's father was brought up, it didn't phase Abby. She shrugged through it. "Honestly, what you did was right, Becky..." she admitted to her daughter, much to Becky's surprise. She smiled and reached across the counter to touch her daughter's face. "You and your brother are what's important to me now.."

"ABBY! Becky! Open up!"

"Jason!?" Becky yelled out running to the barricaded door. She and Abby worked to pull the stuff away from it only to have Jason push in and push the door back.

"W-what happened? Where'd that blood come from?" Abby asked looking at his body and the blade in his hand.

He gave a little smile for a moment.

"It's just a bit of zombie blood. Let me clean up and I'll explain everything."

He went to move past them when he stopped and handed a small black plastic bag full of the jewelry to Becky.

"Just a little gift for you two."

He gave each of them a kiss on the lips before making his way to the shower, dropping the knife by the sink. He was sure they would like the jewelry, humming as he climb into the shower. He gave a little Yelp at the cold water, finding they had run out of hot. He would have to see if the hotel had a generator to start up.

He quickly cleaned himself up, pulling on a pair of boxers before going to see where his sister and mother were.

Becky took the bag from her brother as she peeked inside of it. She gasped looking back up to him but he had already gone to the bathroom area. She turned to her mother. "Mom! Where did he get these?!" she asked looking to Abby. She walked over to the kitchen table and held up the bag to allow the contents to tumble out. Abby gasped as well.

"What the hell?" Abby asked looking to the gems. "You don't think he killed someone for these, do you?"

Becky shrugged. "No, I don't think so. There's no one in the whole building that's alive to begin with. You think that he found these on a zombie?"

Her mother shrugged as well looking to the jewels. "I don't know, but these are gorgeous," she said slipping a ring on her hand. The golden band a bit large for her finger but the bauble on top was amazing looking.

Becky turned around just as she saw Jason walk back in. "Okay, you have to spill the details now, Jase.. Where the hell did you go? Did you rob a Jared's or something?"

The hurting in his overall body had gone away by the time he had finished up with his shower. That was one less thing he was glad to not worry about. He paused for a moment in front of the mirror, noticing something different about himself. He knew he was in pretty good shape, but now it seemed as if he had bulked up just a little. It wasn't much, but he did feel a bit stronger.

Grabbing a towel, he wrapped it around his waist as he walked into the kitchen. Not that he needed it with his new lovers now. He chuckled for a moment.

"No, I didn't rob a Jared's silly. I did find something interesting out tho."

He gave each of them a light smack on their asses before sitting down at the counter, grabbing a piece of bacon from Abby's plate and eating it.

"I didn't say anything earlier, before heading downstairs, so I wouldn't alarm you or anything. When I went to check out the noise, I found the zombie that fell out of the elevator. It saw me, but didn't try to attack me."

He paused for a moment seeing the widening look of fear in his sister and mother's eyes, but continued anyway.

"When I went downstairs, I found a mostly eaten teenager that didn't turn. Not sure why. Anyway, I went into one of the rooms and ran into a couple of zombies. They did sniff at me, but wandered off like I was one of them. They must have been a rich pair, cause that's who I got your gifts from. And yes, I did kill them."

Abby and Becky looked to Jason with widened eyes. Their minds blown by what he was describing. "Wait -- hold on a minute," Becky finally spoke up. "You mean to tell me that you're some kind of immune?"

Abby looked to her daughter with a confused expression as she thought about it. "Immune?"

"Yeah, I mean. Some people are immune to certain diseases. Some aren't - thus why they change," Becky explained as she looked to her mom then back to her brother. It was hard to explain but she tried her best. "But if we're going for an all-out sci-fi horror movie idea of it, that would mean that you've gotten injured. Have you been bitten?" she asked touching her brother's body, looking him over.

"He couldn't have been bitten though, we've been together the whole time," Abby protested looking at the jewels and gems a bit more.

Jason laughed and waved his sister off gently.

"No, I wasn't bitten. I did have one toenail get stuck in my ankle from one, but that's it."

He grabbed the leftovers on their plates, finishing them off before smiling.

"I don't think it is about me being immune, but I do think things went in the direction of a mutation rather than immunity. If I was just immune, they would have still attacked. No' I think it is something else entirely."

He reached over and rubbed his fingers gently up and down the back of his mother's neck.

"So do you two like my gift?"

Abby cooed as she felt her son's hand run along her back. It made her feel good. She looked back to the gems. "I love them," she said turning to clean up, but her face was saddened. The realization that they'd have to leave from this place soon. "If one zombie can get up this far, who's to say that they won't overtake this room?" she asked turning around.

"Yeah and I mean, I know that the screams in the city quieted down but what if someone manages to make it up here?" Becky asked, looking to her brother. "I think Mom is right, we should plan to move."

Abby beamed with delight hearing her daughter say she was right. She had never done that before. Ever since that she was a little girl, Becky had always rebelled against her. This was a nice change.

"What about clothes? You promised us we'd go get some," Abby said pressing against her son, her arms going around him.

He smiled as he felt his mother press against him, his arm sliding over hers. He reached over and grabbed his sister, pulling her in with them.

"Well, new clothes will require two options. I can go through and clear out the zombies, while my lovely ladies pick through afterwards. Or we can try and find a mall to play in. Either way, we'll get you new clothes."

He turned around to face his mother, kissing her lightly for a moment and then his sister.

"If we leave this place, where do you want to try for?"

The question they had been dreading to hear from Jason, but both women knew what they wanted.

"We want to try to go home," Becky chimed in. She moved closer to Jason, her arms wrapping around him. The cinch on the robe slipping away a bit to allow him to see her cleavage. "I know the neighborhood is probably overrun but we want to try."

"Yeah, but perhaps we can get some clothes on the way there. I saw some shops down the road and there's not that many zombies between here and there," Abby added as she placed her hand on her son's ass, grasping his skin gently before heading to the bathroom to put on what she did have. Becky followed suit.

"Home it is then."

He gave a little smile at their answer. He kinda figured that what's they wanted, but he was letting them decide. He watched them head back to the bedroom before going out and pulling his clothes back on.

Grabbing a pair of binoculars, he went to the railing to scan the street. He spotted the clothing stores his mother had mentioned, only a few blocks away. There were only a couple of zombies roaming the street, but a small group of people were going through the wrecked cars that littered the street. They were only a couple of blocks from the stores, moving slowly away. They weren't moving fast enough for him, but maybe they would get lucky and be gone by the time he and his family left the hotel.

"Ready yet?"

He called to the ladies as he hoisted his backpack onto his back and grabbed the rifle.

Abby put on her shirt, there was some blood stains on it and it was starting to stink but she didn't care right now. It wouldn't be too long before they would be able to get to a store and get new clothes to wear. She looked to Becky who was wearing tight shorts and a tank top. "God, you look amazing. I wish I could look like that," Abby said, a slight smirk on her face showing her jealousy.

Becky grinned brightly as she turned to look to her mother. "Ohh, if we find the right clothes, you might be able to. And god, a razor of some sorts, my pits are getting bad.."

"Your pits, my legs. Fuck," Abby said running her hand over her thigh.

Both women laughed as they heard Jason calling for them. They headed out to the front of the place and met up with him.

"Yeah, we're ready," Becky said, heading for the door. She opened it only to be greeted by a zombie standing before her. Jaw half hanging off and blood dripping from its face as her eyes widened. "OHH FUCKING GOD!" she said, instinctively pushing it back. The zombie stumbled backwards and fell on the carpeted floor with a THUD.

Jason blinked for a moment seeing the zombie a moment before Becky pushed it away. He had no idea where this one came from, but it didn't matter now. If they had been staying he would have tried to figure it out. Instead, he waited for a moment while he let his sister take care of the fallen zombie.

"I think I better lead the way down. Less chance of one of my pretty ladies getting hurt."

He kissed each of them for a moment before pushing the stairwell door open. It seemed to be clear for the moment, but he looked down the stairwell anyway. A few zombie were milling around near the bottom, in of of the emergency exit. He looked backed at Abby and Becky, putting a finger to his mouth.

"Be very quiet and slow. We'll go out the back."

He pulled out his knife, clutching it as he headed down the stairs quickly but quietly.

Becky and Abby nodded looking to their shared lover. They followed closely behind him going down the stairs. What he had explained to them was true enough - they weren't touching him. They kept close to him, but then something happened. One of the zombies turned his decaying head, sniffing the air just as Becky passed. Her eyes widened seeing this and moved closer to Jason. "Damn it, just get us out of here," she said moving towards the emergency exit door.

Abby tried to reach for Becky's arm to stop her but a zombie got in the way, a woman with half her arm eaten away and her ribs showing. "Fuck," Abby cursed under her breath.

Becky pushed the door open and felt a hand on her shoulder. Thinking it was a zombie, she raised her hand to bring the machete back only to be stopped by Abby. "Stop rushing ahead, we can get there slowly," her mother said to which Becky lowered her head in silent agreement.

He let the ladies out into the alley first, making sure none of the zombies followed them out. Satisfied, he shut the door quietly behind them. The alleyway was clear for the time being, but he took the lead once more. At the got to the mouth of the alleyway, he motioned to them to get behind a dumpster. Hugging the edge of the building, he peeked around the corner.

The street was clear for the time being, although he did spot the looting gang further up the street. Thankfully they were a little farther up than when he had first saw them. He did catch a glimpse of one of the larger spiked zombies wandering near the mouth of the alleyway near the stores they needed to go in. He turned back and motioned to the ladies to come over to him. He whispered softly.

"As long as we are quiet, we should go unnoticed. There's a spike zombie near the store and some looters further up the street. Follow me and stay low."

He turned and went to the closet overturn car, waiting for his mother and sister.

Abby and Becky nodded, following closely to Jason. Becky caught sight of the spiked zombie, her eyes widened with fear. But he had gotten them this far - perhaps it wouldn't be much further.

All three of them crouched down next to the car, Abby thought they had gone unnoticed when she saw that one of the looters was trekking farther away from the group she was in.

"Hey!" the looter shouted. "There's some people over here! Let's get 'em!"

Becky nearly jumped and ran, only to be stopped by Abby. Abby pointed to the store, the spiked zombie having heard the noise caused by the looters and was now running towards them at full speed. The looters turned to see the zombie, focusing their fire on it. "Crap!" Becky said as she turned her head, noticing that there were slow moving zombies coming their way from down the alley.

Jason jumped when the looters started yelling at them, glancing towards them. He was able to raise a pistol towards them when the spiker roared and started towards them. He dropped the gun to his side as the spiker quickly covered nearly half the distance towards the looters, taking a few hits at the same time.

The looters had also caught sight of the large mob walkers, panicking them as well. Jason turned to the girls, whispering softly.

"Quick, under the car. Leave your stuff."

They really hadn't been noticed yet by the walkers, the gunfire taking their attention. He knew that the sounds would carry for a bit, so more would be making their way to them. However that would probably be awhile.

The spiker, despite having one leg crippled, one crippled arm, and several chest wounds, managed to reach the small group of seven people. He lunged at a couple, ripping them open at their chest and neck. They fell grasping for air as their life blood squirted from them, collapsing on the ground. The spiker tackled a third one to the ground, ripping his throat out before a couple of shots took it out.

The group of walkers from the alley only numbered ten, but the remaining four looters were shooting wildly in a panic. Most of the shots were body shots, but they were lucky to take down four with headshots before the group was on them. There was more screaming and gun shots before silence fell as the looters were taken to the ground and feasted on. Two more zombies had been taken out before the looters succumbed to their grisly fate.
