Hi all, long time reader and first time poster here.

I've gotten incredibly lazy lately and am hoping that some accountability will help me find the gym more often.

As you can tell, I received this digital camera yesterday and am not so hot at its operation. On the bright side, my pictures have only one way to go from here. :) I welcome any comments, motivation, tips, etc. (either on exercise plans or the use of cameras) and hope these pictures provide some entertainment.

let me be the first to say welcome to lit, have fun and enjoy your stay.

tips: (camera) try using light (dark shadows, light to bring out muscle tones etc.) angles...try different angles..all i can think of right now.

tips: (exercise) no need to go to the gym if you wanna save a bit of money you can do a lot of it @ home, ride a bike, sit ups, press-ups, weights, running, etc. these can all help out with toning your muscles and all can be done without the need for a gym

Does not look like you need to join a gym to lose weight. Very hot looking chest with just a bit of hair. :nana:

Hello, welcome to Lit, I hope you have lots of fun here.

I'm afraid I cannot give you tips on your digital, as a rule I mess up the settings in mine and rarely ever get the effects I want... so it's trial and error with me, I take tons of photos, keep the good ones and throw away the junk :D

But I disagree on what you say about "...one way to go...", I think there is lots a man can do before doing the close up DIYF pic. Dressed is always nice... jeans and a T or a shirt you can slowly unbutton... close ups of shoulders, an arm, legs, a jaw line... full body shots if you are comfortable with them... shower photos... in bed under a sheet, gradually revealing yourself... in short, tease us!... and make us ask for more :)

:rose:

Thanks, both of you.

The chest hair is gone as of last night. In its place is a patch of uncomfortable razor burn. Thanks for the compliment, btw. I'm not really looking to lose tons of weight (maybe 2 pounds, max), but everything could be harder and more well defined.

In keeping with the spirit of this site, see attached. I've figured out how to operate the timed delay function and will get to it after this weekend.

Hey, thanks. I've always enjoyed your picture threads, btw.

My comment about 'one way to go' referred merely to the picture quality. I don't plan on posting many completely pornographic shots. Face shots, though, are not an option at the moment.

Well, going by the last one you posted, you are doing fine. The quality is so much better already :)
I understand about face, I never show mine in Lit.... either I crop it out or blur it some... one has to be cautious.

The conversion between L*atm to bar*dm3 is only an approximation, use 99.9998 on your next P. chem test at your own risk ;)

Aww shucks, I'm a mere architect, what do I know of all this jargon??

I'm willing to learn though... :D

Eh, actually that's a conversion from bar*dm3 to Joules. The ratio should be closer to 99.9939. And I wouldn't worry too, too much about not knowing the units, graduate degrees in chemistry pay ~minimum wage.

Next chance I'll get to post pictures will be Monday. Have a nice weekend.
