incense burns

So, I accidentally burned myself on a stick of incense a few times in the last little while, having put it in a silly place. Given that it was unintended pain, I wasn't exactly stimulated by it, but I think it's a kind of pain I could enjoy.

Anyone tried this? It seems to my eye to burn a lot less hot than cigarettes (which are scary) and also of course has a smaller surface area. Or is this in fact a really terrible idea... I've always thought "no fire anywhere near my body please" but I'm slowly, er, warming up to it.

I don't think that burning yourself is a good idea, but if you like this you'd probably like wax play, where melted wax is poured on the skin. Just be careful. Burns are no jokes.

I've only done a little bit of wax play so far, but I've found it hurts me more than I can stand and I have to stop it right away.

I've had some mildly serious burns before which were not cool in the least, but I was thinking itty bitty little ones might not be so bad. I don't know though, I'm not that knowledgeable on the safety-medical side of things.

First, are you using wax from a regular candle? Or wax from candles meant for wax play?

If you were using candles meant for wax play, maybe you should allow it to cool, or use it on a smaller area.

Okay, you CAN use incense.... But I honestly would stick to the wax, if you can't handle that, (when done right) then you won't be-able to handle the inscence.

I'm a pyro, know all aobut burn temperatures, surface areas, etc. And when used from the right distance wax is always more controllable, less painfull, and more enjoyable then inscence burns. Oh and safer

Just my two cents.

Nope, never tried it. Cant imagine id like it either.
But i do like turning the shower really really hot, and sticking my ass under it :)
that's solo burn enough for me.
