Alright. This should be interesting. I hear people talk all the time about what the other guys suck at , but how would things look like if you were in charge? Your vision for America. What would you do if you could change virtually anything about the present arrangements.
Outline your plans for the following:

1. Education
2. Military
3. Businesses
4. Monetary & Banking
5. Housing
6. Law & Correction
7. Healthcare
8. Domestic issues
9. Foreign Policy

1. Education

Public vouchers, performance qualifiers for separation going into HS. Smart kids go to be brain surgeons and rocket scientist. Capable ones have shit tons of choices from lower level tech jobs to general admin. The dummies would go to vocational schools to learn a skill/get an apprenticeship so they aren't totally fucking worthless leaving HS like they are today. This whole everyone gets a gold star and can be an astronaut is just all kinds of fail....for everyone.

2. Military

I sure as fuck wouldn't be relaxing standards...that shit really is horrible and degrading. Cut back the usless spending like and fucking about the middle east like a mother fucker.

3. Businesses

Environmental/safety issues would be maintained but all this play nice bullshit would go out the window. All markets would be opened up...all these million dollar licences and bullshit designed to ice competition/start ups? Gone...competition would be turned up to 11 and the fat cats better stay frosty b/c a bunch of hungry mother fuckers would be coming for them HARD.

4. Monetary & Banking

IDK enough about it to really say much...I'd defer to advisers. But they wouldn't be able to just go out and buy chunks of the government and whatever legislation they want.

5. Housing

Wouldn't be my problem....I'd kick it back down to the locals. But the federal gubbmint would no longer fund locking homeless folks up for being homeless.

6. Law & Correction

Oh man...DEA would be so fucking fired...no more war on drugs. Child molesters would no longer be getting out in 2-3 years on good behavior. Finding Jesus would also no longer be a parole worthy accomplishment for violent criminals either.

7. Healthcare

Single payer UHC to provide and private medical care for those looking to have better than G.I. HC.

8. Domestic issues

Lil broad and encompassing a number of items already listed don't you think? LOL

9. Foreign Policy

Intimidate trade reform with China....I'd put a gun to their head and dare a bitch to keep playing fuck fuck games with the open and direct threat of total and absolute military conquest if they don't get right time 5 years ago. More than happy to follow through and own that fucker tomorrow.

The whole middle east situation? I'd pull out.....Israel wants to get a smart fuckin mouth? Rodger that mother fuckers, handle your shit, good luck. Got better shit to work/spend on.

1) Education

a) PUBLIC
I have my doubts as to how effective the central planning, federal mandates and spending have been in high schools. I would review the results and consider returning public education to the states.

b) HIGHER EDUCATION
I see some disturbing problems. I won't fault the quality of the education available, because I don't know enough about higher education in other countries to make any comparison.

Remember when there was an outcry because unscrupulous banks were making credit too easy for innocent 18 year od college students by giving them cards? One problem is what I call the bait and switch. Students choose a university with the expectation/ promise of being able to get a degree in four years, but due to overcrowding, scheduling, etc., it takes an extra year and increases the debt/profit by 25%.

By etc., I mean that students are fed into a differential calculus course taught by a foreign grad student with a lisp in an amphitheater to meet their math requirement in the time slot available, instead of the more practical and relevant statistics course they were anticipating. Even if they manage to complete the course, they may still fail, and have to take it over, or their GPA suffers. The same sort of thing can happen with science requirements, etc. More students staying for more semesters to complete the requirements results in more over-crowding, which results in more amphitheaters taught by grad students with accents. An endless, vicious cycle. The Universities profit at the expense of the students by providing poor service.

The solution? If the university can't provide/schedule the courses according to the curriculums at the time of enrollment,
the course is free and so is the room & board for the extra semester(s). That ought to give the institutions an incentive.

Other problems include student attitudes of entitlement to a free education, room, & board. (Nothing new) . I have a relative who diligently visited colleges all over the country, and decided upon the one with the partying sororities. Then there are the professional undecided students, and the ones steered into useless degrees by faculty advisers ( I'm related to some of these, too.) . Then there's the spiraling costs, because there is plenty of credit for college. This is out of whack. I'm not sure what to do about it.

Maybe making credit available has to be done with conditions, such as only for institutions that control overall annual cost increases. Maybe Universities need to do a better job of supplying the job market. Or maybe the Universities should put their money where their mouth is, and finance some of the costs of education themselves, that way they would be sure of turning out graduates who could repay them. Maybe fine arts and other majors should be required to be paired with a marketable minor.

Regardless, the status quo doesn't serve the consumers, society/taxpayers, or the economy. Just the institutions. Surely we can do better.

Somebody here probably thinks they have the answers. Care to share?

I'm a fascist, it means The Leader decides. All political philosophies utilize fascists, so its not something limited to socialist or communists or ragheads.

1. Education
Basic math and English literacy by the age of 12. Apprenticeships from 12 to 18. College is limited to medicine, engineering, agriculture, and hard sciences. No liberal arts or law or art or humanities.
2. Military
Four years of compulsory military service for all but females.
3. Businesses
Anyone with the money to buy a business license is free to own a business
4. Monetary & Banking
5. Housing
6. Law & Correction
All felons will be hanged or shot. Others will pay fines or submit to hard or dangerous labor.
7. Healthcare
8. Domestic issues
9. Foreign Policy
Hooray for us, and fuck you. Termination of relations with Britain, France, and the Euro Union. Canada will become the new homeland for darkies. Puerto Rico will become a concentration camp for faggots.

0.1) Ethical Reform

Ross Perot was right. In order to bring about any real reforms, we first need to close the revolving door. He recommended that anyone working for the federal government would be prohibited from working for any domestic company which lobbies the federal gov for 5 years, and any foreign governments for 10 years.

No more politicians/staffers/bureaucrats writing regs and laws, then taking lucrative jobs with the companies being regulated. No more Cheney Haliburton cha-chas.
