In yet another provocative foray into the female body, what is split of women that love/hate/are-indifferent to suckling?

I am writing a scene with a woman that likes it (if done right). But I am curious if anybody has plausible estimates as to the split between love/hate/dont-care to having breasts sucked in a sexual context. And if like, what does that mean and how would you write it.

What’s not to like? Or am I meant to be lactating?

No lactation. Just sexual in non lactating woman. In my experience with my partners like/hate/indifferent all seem to be represented. I guess I am interested in what does it mean to "like", and whether each group is something like a-lot/a-few/most or some other combination like that.

Lactating? Ew. But I've found most women of my experience enjoyed it, some even requesting it in our lovemaking. One I recall could even approach orgasm with it.

I recall reading many years ago that the nerve bundles in and around the teats are tuned to make it a pleasurable sensation.

It feels very pleasant. It’s an over used word (in my writing in particular) but it’s tingly. Many women will respond by their areolae contracting and their nipple becoming more prominent. I’m trying to recall from anatomy if this relates to better letting an infant latch on (I’m not a Mom).

But I’ve never been with a girl who didn’t also like it. It’s not like I’ve slept with 100 girls though.

It's one of those thing that nature rewards women for. Breastfeeding is good for ensuring offspring, so by-and-large women get a pleasure reward from the attention to their nipples.

(My better half subscribes to the Journal of Breastfeeding Medicine. So I get to hear the latest thinking.)

My best guess would be probably 99%, but it depends upon a lot of things and many women will not tell you what those things are.

From an anatomical perspective, sucking her nipples causes her uterus to contract. When she's nursing, those contractions help her uterus to shrink after childbirth.

How does she really feel about the guy (or woman)? Does she know her partner well enough to feel free to say what she wants, or does she think she should just let her partner do the driving?
Some women like it as an arousal technique, some like it when they're already aroused, and some not until they feel the orgasm starting.
Is she currently nursing a baby? If she is, it might not be all that erotic for her. Babies tend to cause nipples to become chapped as well, so sucking on them might cause pain.
Where is she in her monthly cycle? At times, sucking might be painful.
How does her partner do it? Is it gentle, or does it feel like he's trying to suck in her whole breast.

Most of my female characters at least like it. Some are bold enough to tell the guy. It all depends upon the personality I gave her.

I hear horror stories about cracked and bleeding nipples though.

Ok that just about covers suckling, now how about nibbling?

I don't understand what a like, don't like, indifferent, ratio has to do with writing a scene in a story. Decide whether your woman likes, doesn't like, or doesn't care either way, and proceed with your story.

This sounds like an attempt to please everyone, or writing by committee. It's such an odd question - what are you going to do with the multiplicity of answers?

For a particular woman, it doesn't matter. But next part of the question is how a woman that likes it would describe it and I got some answers to that. As to the ratio, I find it informative to know how likely each scenario is. Clearly a woman that has had multiple woman partners, for example, is in better position to answer that question than a man that has not had many woman partners. It is not writing by committee. It is writing as an informed person.

I've probably sucked 100 pair in my lifetime. Once I had enough experience to learn what women like and dont like, all enjoyed it, or so it seemed.

Just like anything else, if you suck at it, she isn't going to enjoy it.

Some like gentle sucking, others find that damp and pointless and like pinching or pulling.

Some may switch from one to the other depending on the time of the month,.along with some days of "don't even think about touching them if you want to remain in bed with me!"

A few women like or get off from scratching or flicking, but I'd recommend not trying that unless the lady of your acquaintance has suggested it's OK.

For breastfeeding, shedloads of Lansinoh ointment is recommended (absorbs better than Vaseline), allow six weeks for nipples to get used to it, and don't expect any sexual response from them at least until until the woman is getting significant stretches of sleep, say a year. (Huge variation, do not treat this as gospel, etc)

I've never asked a woman if she likes it or not, I've never been told not to do it, either.

When my baby mama was breast feeding, as sore as they could be- nipples and the whole boob itself, from the feeding, and the being so firm from being so full, as long as I was easy, it was okay. Her milk didn't come out that easy either, you could squeeze the fuck out of them and just get a few drops. She started letting me nurse on them for pain relief, niether our son, or the pump did much for that.

Suckling is pleasant enough, but it is not mind blowing or anything.

Female characters in my stories often have very sensitive nipples, both because I know it is popular and because I find the concept erotic conceptually.

I know some women (apparently) have very sensitive tits, and I'm fine writing characters like that. From the description of some scenes in erotica, you would swear that the nipples are like additional clits 😆 but that is not my personal experience in the slightest.

Sucking? Not really my thing at all, and in most cases it's pretty meh.

However - tongue or teeth gently on / around my nipple? Oh hell yes o_O. Add in a gentle slick fingertip circling my clit at the same time? You'd better get a spoon and some restraints, because you'll be scraping bits of me off the walls. It's honestly like there's a high-current cable linking my boobs to the small of my back and it gets almost painfully intense.
