...I dare you not to speak of sex.
Speak of other things.

Philosophy, art, politics.

Sport, geography, history, religion.

But no sex. No speaking of sex.
Not directly, anyway.
Euphemisms, metaphors, similes and so forth are allowed.
But no direct references to sex.

I dare you.
Go on.
Can you do it?

Ok, sounds easy enough...

you just don't know the can of worms you've opened. I know several
people here who are very good at "veiled references" to ***.
This could be fun

see? I did it :D

ah
then hopefully they shall grace us with their presence.
i've not yet had much opportunity to meet the majority of posters here.
it's a little difficult, with the rather exclusive nature of some of the threads.

5th. May

Two hours ago I was walking down the High St of a local town. Men and women in suits and rosettes were jumping out of every corner demanding to know if the lunch time shoppers had voted yet.

Reminded me of those perfume spritizer chaps in department stores. "Would you like to test? It's Desperation by Dior."

Understandable really, it'll be a close thing in this constituency....
Conservatives...47%

Liberals............45%

Labour.............Must try harder

UKIP / Veritas etal...Pull the other one, it's got bells on!

So, back on the High St. A man wealding a clipboard approaches a woman quite close to me, and asks the inevitable. Her reply, "I ain't votin'!. I ain't never voted!" left me wide eyed.

In 1905when Christabel Pankhurst publically asked Winston Churchill if he believed women should have the right to vote, he ignored the question. She was then arrested because her banner waving was 'causing an obstruction.'

I wanted to tell Ain't Votin' this, and about the dirty tricks played by Asquith's Govt., such as the Cat and Mouse Act.

But why bother? She at least has that choice.

Now, can someone give me a hand down, please? This is a very high horse.

Well this should be easy, i want to vent on something someone wrote on a post. I said that killing animals for their fur is mean, you don't skin your dog or cat, why should we skin other animals for fashion purposes? So another person said that people have to make a living and that it's not cruel. How is killing an animal so JLo can wear a coat not cruel? Aren't there like a million other jobs out there? Anyway that's what i wanted to vent about.

I don't really have feelings on this one way or another (yeah wishy washie what can I say) but its called supply and demand...people do have to make a living, possibly where they are this is the way they do it and not much else is available, so ya do what ya have to do to feed your family. There are vegetarians out there that think the same of people that slaughter cows, pigs, chickens....and then there is someone out there that think the same of vegitarians (for what reason I'm not sure) but it can go on and on. You can even go on to say the same about just about anything that anyone does, because basically you can find something leading to something else that is gonna piss someone off.

btw...glad to see ya bg...*hand shake* there really are some good people here, ya just gotta look.

The way a person treats and regards animals is telling. The rest I'll leave to a quote....

Fashion is a form of ugliness so intolerable that we have to alter it every six months

I'll give it a try once and we'll see what happens.

More than half the bones in your body are located in your hands and feet.

There is enough iron in the human body to make one small nail.

An average human drinks about 16,000 gallons of water in a lifetime.

How's that? You even get info that a person never evens thinks about.

do you mean half the number of bones?
judging in mass, that can't be true.

useless information dot com? ;)

Alrighty, is it really mean? And why is a single person allowed to make the choice for all. That's best left to the majority I'd think. But notwithstanding (is that proper english?), all that, was it okay for mankind in the beginning to want to stay warm once they realized their own skin wasn't going to offer the proper warmth once cold settled in and to see the various animals out and about in the dead of winter suffering no ill effects it seemed to think that duh, if I were to wear that I might not freeze to death thus began the killing of animals for their fur/pelts. Granted that at some point and then many times thereafter some killed out of control just for the cash values and damn the meat they could have provided, and before someone goes on about that, most animals can and do provide a tasy treat while some such as muskrat is so rank that killing a muskrat is wrong since it's meat isn't the best to eat, yet said muskrat is a varment and carries critters and illness to humans so kill them all as far as I see it, and this is my opinion which I have a right to and you your own.
So we as a more knowledgable perople have learned from our mistakes and now attempt to not kill off some animals without giving thought nor care to the future so some "raise" this or that type of animal for the sole purpose of their fur thus raising the question of, is that moral? Okay lets break it down some.
Do you (speaking in general now so ease up) eat meat? If so, shut up abot the fur trade cause your eating meat raised for the sole purpose of killing them for it so you don't go hungery.
Do you wear a belt wtih your cotton pants? Two points here, first the belt is most likely made of leather, thus an animal, usually a cow was killed for your belt, so shut up again. Second and this is for those that refuse to eat meat cause your so whimpy about killing that poor animal, you eat plants?
So your a veggie eater and all's well in your world you say. Not so said the group that says the mass murder of plants, which are also a living thing, that grows from birth to it's teenage years to adulthood just to have their roots hacked apart from some mademade hunk of metal and tossed into a boiling pot of water. Oh the humanity of it all!! They don't even have a mouth from which to scream their tiny veggies voices. And what aobut those that go so far as refuse to wear a leather belt or leather shoes and wear only those things made from, dare we say it? PLANTS!!!!
Don't you think the cotton plant is a living thing? Doesn't it have feelings?
I could go on and on about mother nature and what is alive and has feelings and abot the rebirth of it all, but that might go into sex, plant sex and we can't breach that subject on this thread so I won't.

Guess I'll go eat some ground up cow and some veggies simmered in peanut oil and then put on my cotton twill pants and try and not hear the screams of the animals and plant life that were murdered just so I could eat and stay warm.

There are a total of 206 bones in the body and the hands and feet contain 106.
