In search of blood...

"What am I doing here you ask?" Jurzx looked about the room again, and turned back to looking at the sleek figure next to him.

"As you say, there are many interesting people here. I am a regular visitor over the past" Jurzx clears his throat. "few years."

Before he could continue any more Jurzx picks up a familiar smell and his gaze darts across the room to a woman and a man sitting further down the bar. The male staring at the female figure sitting with Jurzx. Aaaahhhhh, vampirse aswell. Must be this time of the year.

The Count diverts his gaze back to the woman whom was sitting with him as he notices the woman gaze behind her, both licking their fangs as it were at the sight of Charlie. Jurzx recognised the female vampire as an old... aquaintance.

"I'm sorry my dear, Charlie was it? But it seems you have a fan" Jurzx said, pointing out the male across the club

Delta smiled. "The Hilton's look real easy to take, but I can tell you want more." Delta noticed who was sitting next to Charlie. "Jurzx." She turned to look at Julian. "Let's head over there shall we?" Julian nodded. The pair rose and moved smoothly through the crowd towards the bar. "Good evening Jurzx. Who might you're friend be?" Delta looked at Charlie and smiled warmly at her. Her gaze shifted to the person behind Charlie, who seemed to be almost eavesdropping.

Count Jurzx Vermalsi stood upon being addressed by his old aquaintance, his black cloak falling from the stool, which he looked down at, shrugged and looked at the female vampire and her accomplice.

"Good Evening to you to Delta. It has been a while. This is Charlie, and who might your small halfling be here?" Jurzx asked, pointing out the male standing next to Delta

Julian LaCross

Julian just grinned at the Count’s statement. Because of his mixed heritage, he was used to being treated like something of lesser status by full blooded vampires.
“Jurzx?” He asked looking at Delta questionably. He’d heard of the Count, his reputation preceded him. “As in Count Jurzx Vermalsi? The renowned socialite and connoisseur of all finer things in this world?” He looked at Jurzx and grinned. “It is truly an honor to meet you, my Lord. I am Julian LaCross.” He said bowing his head slightly.
Turning his attention to Charlie, his eyes locking on hers and grin widening slightly. “And you must be Charlie.” His voice was smooth, sultry. He took her hand gently and brought it to his lips. “A true pleasure.” He said before placing a light kiss on the back of her hand. Through all of it, his eyes never budged from hers.

The Count watched Julian's gaze as he looked at Charlie, kissing the back of her hand. The gaze was familiar to him. It was a gaze used by many vampires.

As Julian stood, Jurzx moved his gaze back to Delta. "So my dear, how have you been these past few, or so, years?" Jurzx asked her

Charlie wathed as Julian and his 'lady friend' moved towards them, almost panicing. She took a sip of her drink, but by that time they had arived. She turned on her bar stool, half listening to Delta and Jurzx, her blue eyes running up and down Julians body. Charlie listened as he spoke, his voice smooth, and it made her relax slightly. Something inside jumped slightly as he kissed her hand, and she managed to find her voice enough to say, "Like wise..." She ouldn't take his gaze anymore, dropping her eyes to the floor, and turning back to the bar, leaning on it.

Charlie had a very sweet voice. When she lowered her eyes and turned away from him, Julian cocked his head slightly. “I’ve made you uncomfortable. I apologize.” His voice still held that smooth sultry tone, but his words were sincere. “It was not my intention.”
He moved a bit closer to her and leant forward until his lips were close to her ear. “Is there any way I can make it up to you?” His whispered voice held every inch of its previous tone. Sincerity and all.

"Mmmm... sleeping mostly." She cast her glance towards Charlie. "Eating, creating... you know the usual." Delta smiled. She looked at the person on the other side of Jurzx, they stood and left. Delta sat on the seat and looked out at the rest of the crowd. "I'm actually searching for the right person at the moment. Julian noticed a gorgeous set of twins he dubbed the 'Hiltons' earlier." She paused. "How about you my friend? It's definately been a while."

Charlie

"Buy me a drink?" She smiled at him, "And pull up a seat." She watched as he sat, and smiled, slowly running her tongue across her bottem lip. "So..." Charlie offered, trying to make convosation. Uncounsusely, she spireled a bit of her now dry hair around her finger.

Buy her a drink? Hell, that was the least he could do. “Gladly.” Grinning back at her he sat down next to her. The girl behind the bar taking the order threw Charlie look before going about making the drinks.
“I’ve noticed you here before.” He sought out her eyes again, such beautiful sapphire orbs, sparkling like gems. “You’re an excellent dancer. Very graceful.” The girl returned with the drinks. Placing them in front of them, she threw Charlie a very ugly look. Julian shifted his eyes to the girl for a split second, giving her a fierce look that left no doubt as to its meaning. The girl jumped slightly and scampered away, her gaze firmly fixed on the floor.
He fixed his gaze back on Charlie, his grin transforming into a small smile. “You have a very unique style of dancing.” The scene with the water bottle firmly fixed in his mind.

She smiled, blushing under his gaze. "I just... Dance..." She told him. "I don't do anything special!" She suddenly laughed, remembering the water she'd tipped over herself, that was now dry. "Oh... That?! Oh, man.. I was hot! There was no othe way to cool down!!" She grinned down at the bar, afreid to meet his gaze. "So... tell me more about yourself." She flicked her eyes up, meeting his gaze for a second.

His smile grew at her embarrassment. Her blush made her look even more enchanting. He also noticed she seemed to be avoiding his gaze. He traced his middle finger down his glass in front of him and turned his gaze to it, keeping it there as he spoke. “Not much to tell, really. I was born in France. Dad left before I was born. Mom died when I was very young. I’ve been blessed with what some people would consider a hefty sum. But what they don’t realize is that I’ve had to work my ass off for every cent of it.” He shrugged slightly. “Much of it is luck, though. Positive rates, stocks, blah blah blah ‘til the end of time.” He chuckled slightly at his own flippant remark.
“What about you? What’s your story?” He looked at her over the rim of his glass as he took a sip.

"Oh, you know.... Student, 18, living at home," She smiled, flicking her eyes up to look at him for a second. "Social outcast... Yeah.." She sipped her coke. "So..." She took a deep breath, and glanced across at the girl who'd served them, and gave a smug grin. "Thats me. I'm all out... Whos the lady you were with?" She glanced at Delta, deep in convosation with Jurzx.

Julian LaCross

He caught the look Charlie gave the girl behind the bar and grinned into his glass. Feisty! He liked that. He also noticed the murdering stare the girl threw back at Charlie. 18, huh? She didn’t look it. She didn’t seem to possess the juvenile characteristics that many, if not most, of her peers seemed to. In Julian’s opinion, anyway. She could pass for 21 easy.
Glancing back at Delta deep in conversation with ‘his Lordship’ he shrugged. “Her name’s Delta. We just met.” He grinned almost imperceptibly. “We have a few things in common. Common interests, likes, dislikes. We just got to talking.” He picked up his glass again and indicated the Count. “Are you good friends with his Lordship?”

"We just met.” Charlie grinned. “Things in common. Common interests, likes, dislikes. We just got to talking.” She smiled at him. "So... where are you living?" She asked, interested. "And... what are you drinking?"

Julian LaCross

He grinned back at her when she echoed his words. Oh, he definitely liked her!
Running through the long list of his local places of residence in his head, he came up with the perfect spot. The Carlton Towers, one of the hottest pieces of real-estate in the whole city. People were literally clawing each other’s eyes out for a chance to own even a broom closet in that place. And he owned the penthouse! “Oh, I have this little place I like to call home” He said shrugging slightly. “Nothing major. Has a great view though. It’s this little place uptown, The Carlton towers.” Shrugging again he took a small sip of his drink. He twirled the liquid in the glass as he gazed at it. “And this; is a simple Bacardi Lemon and Sprite. Nothing fancy.” He tilted his glass towards her and raised his eyebrows.

She tried to keep cool about Carlton Towers, so asked him about his drink. "Sounds nice, I don't drink, myself..." Her eyes sanned the bar. "So... um... Carlton Towers, huh?!" She asked, smiling. "The penthouse?" She smiled up at him, wanting to explain. "I figured by you saying it had great views..."

Julian LaCross

He let her coment about her not drinking slide. He'd seen her take a sip of the Count's drink earlier. “Very perceptive.” He complimented her; his grin wide. “Yes, the penthouse is mine. The view from up there is quite something. You can see for miles and miles. It’s like you’ve got the whole city at your beck and call. And the lights… spectacular. You’ve never seen anything like it. Ever.” He looked in her eyes again and cocked his head slightly. “Would you like to see it?”

"Can I take a sip of your drink?" She asked, smiling slightly. "And... yeah, I would like to see it... If your offering?" She grinned as she said that, secretly hoping. She ran a pale hand through her long brown hair, and for once meet his gaze for longer then 5 seconds. "Nice eyes..." She whispered.

Julian LaCross

He grinned at her. He’d heard that whisper. His eyes still locked on her and grinning, he slowly slid his glass over to her without a word. He could see the girl behind the bar tense up, as if she were about to protest. One split-second look from Julian shut her up faster then anything and sent her scurrying away. He looked back at Charlie. “I’m offering.” His voice was back to that smooth, sultry tone.

Charlie

Charlie slowly reached and took the glass, her eyes not once brakeing his gaze. She took a sip, and smiled, pushing it back to him. "Thanks..." His voice was making her go into relaxed mode again, but she tried to snap out of it. "Ok... But... I ditched my bag, with your... friend" She glanced at the girl for a second, then back to Julian, "...on the bar, so could you ask for it back for me?" She had her spare clothes in it, and needed it in case he took her anywhere."

“Certainly.” He said grinning. He looked at the girl behind the bar. “Would you be so kind as to give the lady her bag, please.” The girl blushed, smiled and moved a lock of her dark hair from her face nervously. “Uhm… S- Sure.” She seemed to have a problem deciding which leg to rest her weight on.
Handing Charlie her bag, she sent her a murderous look that held the promise of a very painful death. The message was loud and clear. ‘Hands off, you little slut!!!’
Julian got up and offered Charlie his arm. “My Lady. Your chariot awaits.” He said, concealing the keys to his brand-spankin’-new Lexus in his other hand.

Charlie took the bag for the girl, returning the glare. "Why do you give a shit anyway?" She asked her, before standing and taking Julians arm. "What chariot?" She asked, giggling softly.

Julian LaCross

He grinned to himself. “Oh, You’ll see.” His voice was playful.
Exiting the club he led her to the VIP parking lot. Nodding to the guard on duty he stopped her before a row of luxury cars. Turning to look at her, he held up the remote to the burglar-alarm. “My lady. Your chariot.” He presented playfully and pressed the button to deactivate the burglar-alarm. The ‘bleep’ sound sounded and a split-second later an engine roared to life. The brand new sleek black Lexus sports car stood before them, engine running and headlights on. 'Pre-starters, the worlds greatest invension.' He thought to himself.
Turning back to Charlie, Julian grinned and held out the keys to her. “Wanna try it out?”

Charlie saw the Sports ar and gasped. "No... way!" She grinned, "Who've you borrowed it from?! Give them my number!" She smiled, clutching his arm tightly. "Its... nice. Nice color!"

A wind suddenly blew, and her hair got whipped about her, and goosebumps rose on her sleeveless arms. Angrily, she unzipped her bag, and pulled out an elastic band, pulling bak her hair and seuring it with the band. "No... you can drive, I don't wanna crash it or anything..."
