In search of a beta reader

I've about finished a short story, and I was hoping someone could look it over.

It is a lesbian story, sort of a romance. It's currently just under 8k and I doubt it will top 9k words, certainly not more than 10k.

There are a few things I'm not quite sure about and so would like another opinion.

ETA: Okay I underestimated. Should be between 10-11k.

I like the occasional lighter tale, makes for a nice change of pace.
