Eve,
in no particular order.
1.)I admire your willingness to help newbies
2.) Your poetry, I find revolutionary, for the most part accessible, always though provoking.
3.)I like 99% of your AV's, even the one you mooned me, you know what one I didn't like.
4.) I think your sense of humour is fantastic, even when I am the butt of it.

I know, 1197 to go, but it is young in the year.

Okay, that's it. I am now giving you the official title of my poetry forum main squeeze. And I squeeze hard. :D

Thank you. I can always count on you, at least, to 1201.

I shall wear it proudly, and bounce back from the squeezins

(I did think I would have to get up to 6 reasons to get his reponse)

5.) You look good, for however old you said you where, was it 30?

6.) oh yeah, inspirational, in a non-sectarian sort of way

7.) the fritters

By the way, I left a comment on your new poem. It's lovely.

Are you going all the way to number 1201?

Sigh... I don't think anyone will ever forget the pine tree air freshener. lol

Speaking of pine, remember the fallen pine tree poem? Now, I have new inspiration for another poem on the fallen pine. I think most everyone here knows that I'm in a small southern town where everyone is someone's cousin. Since the tree has been down, people are driving by and checking it out. And my dad is obsessed with sawing and chopping away at it. Of course, it's turned into a social event. Old men are pulling up in their pickups to talk to my dad about the tree. The city workers are offering to pick up the limbs for free so he doesn't have to pay the guy who keeps calling and coming by the house. This guy came by here one night, beating on the door and yelling, "Hey, what's your old man's number? I want to call him about the tree!" And when my parents are at my house, all my family comes by to visit and everyone gravitates toward the tree, until they're grouped around it. My mom finally took my dad home today. She made him stop cutting on the tree. He actually stood in my backyard for about 20 minutes staring at it, with his hands in his pockets. Since the tree is getting so much attention, I've decided it may be the way for me to get myself a man. I'm going out and straddling that damn tree until one comes by.

Eve,
despite my constipation comment on the Troll SH*T thread, I want you to know I understand your frustration.

You are an unbeleivable asset in so many ways here: poetry, insight and feedback, criticism and humor, and many others.

And I really don't mind, if you take the Howard Beall approach as in the movie "Network" - "I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore!"

More power to you!

I know, please go, but it is young in the rear. :p

66%? You actually have a freaking percentage in mind for my poetry? 66? Not 69 just to be naughty? Do you hate 44% of my poems? I will now only read 66% of each poem you post. I will comment on 66% of any given poem. "Jeez... I kind of like the first stanza and a half but I refuse to read further, even though 3% more would let me complete that one line." And forget about us ever having sex (with each other). I'd only go 66% of the way with you. :D

Yeah, you're right. I probably should have only flipped one of the 9s. - I forgot where I was. I'll go flip it back now. :)

Well that's just tough. Fool is a cigar smoking, butch girl and he wears pretty panties. Don't you fool?

Okay, that image is freaking me out.

Go for it, as long as it has an out of state license plate, you don't want to hook up with a cousin.
Better yet, drive out of town, meet me at the bridge, I'll be playing the banjo...caterwaulin

9.)generally puts up with me

Yeah, that whole cousin thing really worries me.
A banjo player would fit in just fine around here. This past October, a whole mess of them were down the street, playing. There was dancing in the yards and... well, it's a small town, "we're all cousins" sort of thing.
Oh wait. Under the bridge? For some reason that kind of excites me. But then I start thinking trolls. No. I must stop that. Bridge. Water. Wetness. Okay, I'm excited again. It's so difficult for me to get excited.

And they say my poetry is confusing.
Get out the banjoy (cool typo) and join tath and his didgeradoo.
Now, I must leave. I have to buy microwavable food.
