As a former Okie I thought I'd pop in here and say hello. So....HELLO! I left Lawton a few years ago. Many fond memories of the place, my daughter was born there. Although I don't miss the summers one bit!

Hi 'hello kitten'.....what's if not to love about OK summers ?? You mean you don't love temps from 98 to 105 with heat factors up to 110 or 115 ??? .........lol.......I don't blame you....that is why I like autumn so much....................lol..............

Ha, yeah those summers did not agree with me, winters were lovely though. My dad was in the Air Force but we mainly stayed around the North West, Oklahoma summer was a shock for me. I remember it being 2 a.m. in Lawton and the temp had only dropped to 95. Oi, and the storms and tornado warnings in the spring. Then the last summer I was there we had a huge infestation of crickets. *sigh* Still miss it though.

Hiya Tulsaguy, was sitting here reading over the posts this morning, I dont know how i did it but i missed this one... I'm very sorry about that. I am doing pretty good, been reading some of the stories here and debating if i should post mine. I have a very fun and exciting day planned here. Spring break is over and the kids go back to school tomorrow so i wil be spending my day doing laundry! Arent you jealous? i know you want to do my laundry.. hee hee. anyway, Hope everyone is doing great. My dryer just buzzed, so i guess i need to get off
