In Memory of a Wonderful Man: ToddHwrd

Though I only talked to him once here, I feel terrible about his passing.

Let us remember his life, so that we may celebrate instead.

Thanks, Lo!

because more people should know...

:(

I remember posting with him a few times, and that it was a positive experience.

Summery, I am sorry for the loss to yourself, and Todd's family. :rose:

Sad news... but thank you for telling us. He was a good guy and I will miss him around here.

Mensa likely met Todd with a smile and a joke to welcome him home and show him the ropes. :)

Todd was a kind man, and I regret that he never got to my part of the country for the dinner we talked about having if he was ever passing through. Who knew he had such little time left? A good lesson for us all.

R.I.P Todd.

Sometimes I have no words of my own and I must borrow others.

Retrospection ~ Alfred Tennyson

Tears, idle tears, I know not what they mean,
Tears from the depth of some divine despair
Rise in the heart, and gather to the eyes,
In looking on the happy autumn-fields,
And thinking of the days that are no more.
Fresh as the first beam glittering on a sail,
That brings our friends up from the underworld,
Sad as the last which reddens over one
That sinks with all we love below the verge;
So sad, so fresh, the days that are no more.

Ah, sad and strange as in dark summer dawns
The earliest pipe of half-awakened birds
To dying ears, when unto dying eyes
The casement slowly grows a glimmering square;
So sad, so strange, the days that are no more.

Dear as remembered kisses after death,
And sweet as those by hopeless fancy feigned
On lips that are for others, deep as love,
Deep as first love, and wild with all regret;
O Death in Life, the days that are no more.

You'll be missed, Todd.

Summery, you've got a PM. You know where I am if you need me.

I will celebrate his life, no matter how short.

My thoughts are with Summery and those he left behind.:rose:

I echo that sentiment.
Fly free with the angels Todd, we'll all miss you.

never spoke to him - but RIP

Was he old/young , Cancer has no criteria about who it chooses. My best friends partner is battling now with Lymph and Lung - in and out of chemo - she is 34 with a 6 month old -

This news leaves me with a heavy heart. Todd had a great sense of humour and always there with his softness and friendship....

When someone so young passes we all ask why and say it is not fair... but we can do nothing to change life as we know it... just be glad we got to share life if only but for a while with one of the good ones....

Those of us that knew him were lucky to have him travel some of lifes path with us....

Hugs to all.... :rose: :kiss: :rose:
