In Honor Of This Great Country, I've Changed My Avatar

In regards to the horrific disaster of September 11, 2001, two of Americans most populated states (California & New York) have suffered a great loss. However, it made me feel proud when I was listening to the radio that late evening and heard how people of New York and many other states are pulling together to assist in the retrieval of the decease, as well as survivors, of the WTC disaster.
"Crazy Cabbie", a New York DJ and occassional participant of the Howard Stern Show, made it clear about the unity of this beloved country. He said, " the Jews and Puerto Rican people in my neighborhood are all driving around with the American flag attached to the antenna of their cars". Whle this is not a religious or nationality matter, he stated that this is two groups of races that doesn't always agree with each others' belief. But in this crisis, we are all pulling together.

In closing, I would like to thank and extend my prayers to all of those who have donated blood, supplies, or assistance to the victims and survivors of this horrific disaster. In addition, my prayers go out to all of the victims and their families of the World Trade Center, U. S. Pentagon, and each airplane involved in this disaster.

GOD BLESS YOU ALL & GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!

i had to downsize it to fit here.. and it doesn't do the picture any justice.

I wanted you all to see what the "original" looked like before i downsized it, it's a great picture. And maybe if you have webpages, as i do, you might want to use it

Every american here has changed their Avatar, and I Myself spent three hours finding one I thought appropriate, as you can see to the left.

I belive we, over many other message boards, are showing a unity of our own, people from all nations everywhere pulling together, speaking our minds and how proud we are of our fine country.

What ISP are you using? I got my avatar from the homepage of CompuServe. I thought that it was very appropiate for he occassion. If you don't have one on your ISP homepage, maybe you can find one on a news website (i.e., CNN.com, LAtimes.com, etc.)
