One in 200,000 people are killed by asteroid impact?

I freaking knew it!

It's the 1 in 5000 for electrocution that worries me. I'm never plugging in the toaster again!

Adding the lot up in percentages makes less than 40%. Seems a whole bunch of us ain't dying.

This doesnt take into account freak jump-rope accidents, occasional problems with ink-jet printers and the rare person who gets eaten by werehampsters.

"There can be only one."

Or rabid bunnies.

Am I the only one that finds it disturbing Executions kill more people than tornados?

Agreed. This has to be an international average taking into account things like genocide, don't you think? Mebbe?

US only, supposedly.

Oh, feeling stupid; should have read the parenthesis.

Doesn't seem possible though.

What! So, falling down is no longer considered an accidental injury?

Hmm, though I can't ever recall getting drunk accidentally either.

4,999 times

I´ve plugged the toaster 4,999 times.

I´m wondering... "To plug or not to plug? That is the question"

I was tabbed once. Only once, damn it. Didn't come close to dying, though.

1 in 5,000 for execution seems a little high.

I gotta ask, why do you keep unplugging it?

I kind of want my death to be by the hands of a werehampster. :D

Well, there is that one in 1,116 toaster fire to consider. *nods*
I don't know about everyone else, but my toaster is 50 years old and not to be fucked around with.

DO NOT FUCK ANYTHING THAT PLUGS INTO THE WALL! THEREIN LIES THE PATH TO DESTRUCTION. OR A VERY EMBARASSING ER VISIT!

Good heavens, yui. We all see you. Don't we?

Do I have to kick some ass?

I was in four fires that started with toasters. Only one consumed any major part of the building. Generally, there were no fatalities in my fires. Overwhelmingly, in fact. I understand it does occur. My dead people, if I may use the locution, were accidents, heart disease, overdoses. Direct death in fire? A woman who smoked while fueling her vehicle and then, I suppose, tripped into the hose. That was ugly.

The figure has got to be wrong.
