the UK has invited the Palestinians to London for talks. The EU, US and Russia have also been invited. Arafat is sending some of his senior negotiating team. Israel won't be attending, Sharon's got an election to win first.

So now we know why Syrian President Bashar-al-Assad was welcomed here on a State Visit a few days ago. A Press Conference is going on as I type...

The US says they're happy because the Peace Talks have become moribund and bogged down.

With the UK's tremendous experirnce over Ireland and the respect our Tony has in the world this may well be the first tentative step to moving forward...

It would be much easier though if Sharon lost the election and Arafat stood down...

But we'll see...

do you know the syrian president refused to condemn the attacks in mombasa?

why? huh?

Because he supports the Palestinian cause...

He's never taken any other stance...

He doesn't condemn the suicide bombers in Israel either...

So what?

Napalm Gaza.

Palis kill their own children for political gain. Help them by adding to the body total.

If they want peace how about they all elect one person that can speak for them, cause arafat cannot. Arafat controls his faction but not others, so any talks with him are only going to effect one party to the conflict. Arafat could agree to something, but would the others follow, or do they want total victory?

Deal with it through the population. Drop another 2000 lbs bomb on a terrorist's house. If it kills some Pali kids then they got sent to heaven fighting the good fight at they were taught in school.

Till the Palis stop teaching their kids in school to kill themselves in terorist acts, I say treat them as they treat the Isralies.

Without mercy.

You've obviously considered the situation with all the seriousness at your disposal...

I am in favor of this part of your post, indeed. I am not in favor of killing children but I am in favor of "No Mercy."

If the pali are going to do it kill their own children by sending them out as suicide bombers anyway, why not do it with only those that want to die get killed.

If you want to kill yourself, do it, but eat a bullet, don't blow youreself up in a supermarket.

consideration please.

as to napalming gaza...what did you want me to recomend? Nerve gas? that shit drifts on the wind. A nuke? too expensive. Ebola? no, thats disgusting, too much clean up.

Naplam gets the sentiment across well enough without the downsides.

That is a beautiful reigon, but brutal in some aspects and the only way to survive their is to take it one step beyond the other guy.

Thats hard when the other guy is willing and does wrap his 11 yrold with semtex and ball bearings to kill your kids.

If someone is willing to go that far, then yes, I would take further step.

Israel will not get destroyed or broken up, and if the cost is blood, so be it. Enough has been spilled before the country of Israel existed.
To keep it intact and strong more may need to flow, but the world can remember that this time around its not only going to be only Jewish blood that stains the floor.

I wouldn't personally put a bet on that. Maybe not broken up or destroyed but certainly come to terms that they are isolating themselves from the world community even with the support of America.

Israel would do best to get rid of Sharon, stop provoking the situation by continuing to build settlements on Palestinian land and show a willingness to come to a peace settlement that is not all one sided in their favour. Like Camp David and Oslo were.

The Palestinians for their part could do themselves a favour by ridding themselves of Arafat.

America must also come to terms that much of their policy in the Region is influenced by the powerful Jewish Lobby and begin breaking ties...

But whilst she lives by Truman's historic and misguided words "I don't have 100,000 arabs as my constituents" then her involvement with the situation will only become more entangled, as Sharon showed Bush when George sent Colin Powell to humiliate himself at the Church of Nativity...

The problem is a many faceted one and the political argument is only one side. But it is the side which is failing to find a solution...

Bollocks. He was invited because his wife is BABELICIOUS! Makes Cherie Scammer look like wet sawdust.

Did you read that Yassar has slammed Osama, distancing himself from the man who claims to be 'helping' the Palistinean cause?

Clever move.

Hi ppman, Coolville . . . I find my position on the Palestinians changing more in favour of them, despite previous support for the Israelis . . . there is a big game being played out here . . . the Warsaw Ghetto has moved location to the Eastern Mediterrean coast and the former inmates have become jailers . . . doesn't add up . . . a Polish Pope does nothing after Pius XII sat back as a Nazi collaborator 1933-1945 . . . too many coincidences . . .

NOW, if the U$ would only butt out, there may be a chance of some peace . . . but the U$ is looking to takeover the undeveloped Middel East Oil Reserves, so the CIA and friends will be stirring things up for quite a while yet . . .

Yassar is no fool . . . any link to Usama bin Laden would see hiim rolled by the U$, rather than supported as the thorn in the side . . . :)

Why not put all the Jews back in concentration camps? I am sure the world would turn a blind eye again. Afterall, over 50 years have passed and the Middle East and the world has been stuck with the same problem and how to solve it.

Maybe the Final solution was the solution afterall.

Shit! I was avoiding mentioning his wife's tits...

This was going to be a serious thread...

Yeah I did read about Arafat and Osama. Wrote a thread on it a couple of days ago...

Now back to Mrs Assad's tits...

well, if you are that hot to start a nuclear war, go ahead.

If it comes to that I'm sure some nuke tipped cruise missiles will be launched from the Isralies.

If you want WWIII, step up to it.

You mean copy the Israeli tactics?

"Khiam prison was a detention and interrogation centre during the years of the Israeli occupation in Southern Lebanon. From 1985 until the Israeli withdrawal this May, thousands of Lebanese were held in Khiam without trial. Most of them were brutally tortured - some of them died."
