That is a pretty simplistic take, when you think about it.
The circumstances in 2024 are very different from 1938. Back then, the nation of Israel was not engaged in a genocidal war against another nation.
But don't misunderstand here: What took place at Yale recently is a horrible case of racism and injustice and small-minded petty hateful mob mentality. Nobody in good conscience can condone what took place there, and I certainly do not. Those students have nothing to do with the Israeli military or their government.

This. Students going after students in the United States over national policies is nonsense. College administrations need to step in and tell the students it's nonsense. And congressional committees fomenting this nonsense need to stop trying to tie the hands of college administrations on this.

Haven't seen an appreciable amount of "racism and violence" directed against "Jews in this country".
I'm sure there is some of the usual suspects doing the usual spray-painting swastikas on the side of a synagogue. but that's been going on for decades. Probably a bit more in the past decade, if I had to hazard a guess.
And for the record, it's wrong, it's hate speech, and I disapprove of those who do such a thing.

Bruh violence against rose under Trump for a fucking reason. He condoned it. Biden at least isn't going that far. Is he doing what he should? Debatable. I don't think its his job to speak out on every single fucking current event. Okay I looked all over and can't find a clip any longer than 2:00 and none of them seem to show anybody being blocked. It looks to me like they are lining the walkway but there is an open path to the stairs. What I did read makes it sound like this was pretty fucking peaceful other than one guy who probably did jab her in the eye on purpose. Though that could have been an accident. When she went to retaliate other people stepped in to prevent things from escalating. That's not how its phrased mind you. Its phrased as other stepped into stop her.
If the New York Post can't make this sound more extreme than that I'm less than impressed. The protest was an anti-Israel post, but also wanting Yale to stop spending money developing weapons. I'm not sure how realistic that is for them or any major school but it is what it is. I'm not even against weapons development of all kinds. Yes that includes nukes and bio. We SHOULD be doing cause of function research. How do you think we got the COVID Vax out so fucking quick. We've been on this for a while now. The full name of COVID 19 is SARS2-COVID19. REMEMBER SARS!?! That's how long we were prepping for that fucking moment. We really only had to fine tune something we were already working on to work on this variant. Modern nukes while they will do more damage have both lower fallout yields and shorter half lives. In short we'd have to try a lot harder to end all life on Earth or all human life on Earth than in the past. I hope never use them, but if we must I'd prefer they do the minimal lasting damage possible. Not to mention if we got regular ordinance better we're less likely to use nukes. So I'm not 100% behind them on this.
Nobody should be intimidated, though what is intimidating is a very broad definition in the real world. It was night time. It seems really strange as far as the story only mentioned a single person. I'm unfamiliar with Yale's layout. Were they blocking the only entrance to the dorms or something. Cus the stated protest is about the faculty.

Wonderful. The violence I saw was mostly BLM and Antifa (a troublesome definition since it's ad hoc organization of heroin addicts and apparently pedophiles, as Kyle Rittenhouse showed us).
I don't think we are in Weimar times. 30s or 40s, yes, I believe that, but from a different century.

You must have completely missed 2020. After Biden took office crime has been down each and every year. Though honestly its lucky for the country BLM and ANTIFA didn't get much, much more violent. For a country that prides itself on the 2nd amendment is for self defense. The 2nd amendment is for if your government is oppressing you. As recently as St. Ronnie the right has made it perfectly clear that the Constitution is for white men. Exactly as intended.

Okay she seems to be perfectly safe, her voice doesn't sound like she feels like she's in any danger. The cameraman appears to be the only person trying to get her even bumped into. The protestors, who are protesting Israel and the Falculty developing weapons. They seem to be making an effort to avoid her. The only real question is why isn't she just walking up the middle?
