Impulse shopping

I'm the fucking worst for this. I hate to go shopping, but if I have to go out for one thing, I always end up spending money I hadn't intended to spend.

Went out today for new running shoes - ended up with an added pair of pink runners (pretty cool ones though), 5 new thongs and 2 new bras. Goodbye paycheque.

Most of my shopping is done like the Israeli commandoes at Entebbe - I get in, get my stuff, and get out.

I'm a fanatical impulse shopper. I rarely if ever buy what I originally set out to buy. For instance, last week I went out with the intention of getting a basic webcam...300 bucks later I have a nifty little digital camera. I've been pretty good at keeping my spending habits to a minimum online though and like some of you, I always go grocery shopping when hungry...huge mistake!

Of course, i wait until i'm almost out of everything before i go.


WalMart is worse, though. I went in there on Tuesday to buy hand sanitizer for my class and came out $110 poorer.
