WTF kind of chem lab experiment is this to make it taste like meat? Just eat the Goddamn Hamburger.

Usually meat substitute is fungus or legume based.
Yeast extract tastes pretty meaty, so it's probably flavoured with that...

Fucksake. I'll just Google.

Personally, if I'm going with the Vege option, I prefer a bean burger that tastes like a bean burger. Or a slab of fried puffball/halloumi.

I’ve had a beyond burger a few times, was pretty good. Not a replacement for me, but still better than I thought it would be.

I tried the Impossible burger, and yeah, it's close to the real thing. If the goal is to not clog your arteries, then look elsewhere, it's not much (if any) healthier. If you're a vegan or don't want to eat red meat, tough, cause the thing is cooked with/around regular beef. I would assume in actual beef fat. Then again, that's only if you order it in a Burger King or similar joint.

In conclusion :
It's close, but I probably won't order it again.

Yeah, from what I’ve read the pros/cons sort of cancel themselves out so far.

Judging by some of the threads I've seen in the forums, no one is asking the questions that those who lurk in the shadows of Literotica are dying to know. . .

If you order a double-burger, can you fuck it?

It's a conspiracy to grow food in test tubes. You know for our dystop\cyberpunk future.

Meh. The commercial intrigued me, so I gave it a try.

Flavor-wise, it’s not bad. It even has a nearly similar texture to beef, so it wins in those categories.

But personally? I’ll stick with my Morningstar patties I eat at home, thank you.

I had a mushroom burger for lunch today at The Cheesecake Factory. Pretty good, and not made from mushrooms.

I’ve had the impossible burger and some other stuff like it. Did some “beyond sausage” recently. Tasted like sausage, did not have the grease. My skin was happy with that.

Yeah but what kind of chemicals are in this Franken-burger?

Food things you buy in the store have these little white squares on the back of the packaging. They have tiny words on them under “ingredients.” The stuff I had has made with peas, mushrooms, some flour, etc

It also had this chemical called polyhexen-emasculator. Not sure what it does, but I’ll bet infowars could tell you all about it.

Some of the jack-booted loonies won't be happy until they've forced the rest of humanity to eat nothing but insects.
