Sorry for the redundancy. I posted this in the General Board also, but thought I should post it here as well...
After talking with a couple of people, I decided it might be a good idea to clarify the whole process of how the nominations/awards will work. Here's the process:
1) Nominations are made via the Awards forum. Here's the kicker: The Top 4 nominations in any category will go on to the final voting. Therefore, if we have 5 nominees that have received 5, 4, 3, 3, and 2 nominations respectively, the ones with 5, 4, 3, & 3 nominations will make it to the voting.
So, if you visit the nominations area and see that another person has already nominated your choice, do nominate it again as it does count.
2) After Jan 31, Manu and I will go through all the nominations and pick the Top 4 in each category. Those will be put into a script onsite (not through the BB) and final voting will take place from there.
If you have any questions, please let me know. All categories in the Nominations area for this year are valid.
As far as the awards for Role Playing, we'd be happy to set up a separate awards for those areas. The moderators, I'd think, would be the most likely choices for helping me to set these up, so one of you mod types please email me and we'll get that started.
