Important Date

It was the same for me as most others, I looked forward to being 18, 21, and of course the Y2k thing. I was born in December of '71, so I always looked forward to the year following my birthday instead of the actual year of it. Seemed silly to look forward to turning 18 in '89 when I'd really only be 18 for two weeks of that year.

Since passing those milestones, there have been very few dates I've looked forward to. I tend to be the type who lives day to day. I do, however, look forward to treading on into my thirties. Not necessarily a particular age in my thirties, just the entire decade.

Happy belateds to Dixon and Skibum, I do SO love the older men!

I still feel 24.

Doesn't everybody? Semi-seriously, I read somewhere that most people's perceptions of themselves stops aging in their mid-20's. I'm 41, and still feel mid-20ish. Is that true for anyone/everyone else? hmmmm.....

I don't feel mentaly or maturity wise a bit different than when I was 25. My body however, well it keeps me in touch with my mortality a little more every day.

I remeber sitting in a club with my friends on my 21st birthday thinking its all down hill from here.

And YEA! Only three more days till I get to be depressed about that very thing again. Birthdays blow.

So then, Expertise, in addition to Dixon and Skibum, we need to be wishing you the happiest of birthdays as well?

I baked you all a cake... and boy was it good! :)
