The cafe I worked at was in the ghetto. There wasn't anything around there. It was a cute little hippies spot right in the middle of nothing lol.

I went to Jr High at BTW right off Nebraska in Ybor. Dudes from projects used to come down and hand out beatings.

No it is in Ybor. Ans I know a shit ton of people who went to that high school. Also used to party a lot near those apartments with USF kids.
Lucky to have 2 local markets so support local business especially as I did not get a garden in this spring.

I do usually, 3 or 4 types of tomatoes, lots of peppers, and herbs. Here is a picture from last summer

Absolutely love them, I usually put down 4 plants of those alone. I am known for playing with salsa recipes using them.
Where I am now I've never had luck growing anything except habaneros. Bugs devour everything I've tried planting, and I've tried many ways. In Tampa in a courtyard, I planted La Roma's and had so many on the plant at one time. I also had a very happy huge basil and dill. I ended up using all of it to make stuffed La Roma's with basil and dill cream cheese. It was so satisfying to make it from my garden. The tastiest treat I've had.
Oh yea big basil fan not just for food but garnish bourbon drinks, it expresses so nicely. Favorite is a blackberry basil smash
