The Santa Claus is great. But hear me out. The Mrs Claus.

Ok he needs to find a wife. And Charlie trying to figure out his angst? Great story there. But the whole business with plastic Santa just takes away from the story that didn’t get told.

Just have the elf’s almost mess up and then they fix it before Santa returns and act like nothing happened. Then you can spend more movie magic telling the story between Scott, Charlie and the principal.
