Immortal Love

Samira also fell asleep almost collapsing the confusion growing too much for her. Her sleep plagued with nightmares that she could not wake up from. Trapped in the depths of a prison within her mind.

When she awoke Mirri stood over them with a strange dagger in her hand. Samira then felt a pain over her chest and saw the cut. it was not deep just enough to draw blood. Looking over she saw him there as well the same bleeding wound.

MIRRI!!!!! what have you done?

Mirri raised the dagger knowing the terrified Samira would fall silent and realize that she could not move. Mirri had manipulated the Amir and one of his men to bind them and leave as if nothing had happened. She was using far more magics than she had before but to curse them and make them leave or die it was worth it. Making sure that they were far enough apart so Samira's precious protector could not help her Mirri stood there watching waiting for both of them to be awake.

He woke up when Samirra cried out, from lowered eyelids he surveyed the situation and sighed inwardly. Silly girl, did she not know that magic had a way to come back and bite you in the ass?

"She cursed us, that is what she did."

He opened his eyes and looked up at Mirri,

"What type of curse it is, she will have to tell us."

Curse... what curse... Precious Samira fire finally will get her what it should... death and pain... Salim will see that dancers loyal to this place and know our lot in life are who he should push to make him more money.

And you stranger no one affects you... you make those who would pay big and stay for days turn infant and leave... you cause those that could help Mirri angry the warlord and his men all of them the Amir... Salims old friend and money person.... you manipulate them and then protect Samira from them so now...

You want no one... you claim you can not feel anyone or anything... Well feeling nothing will not prevent you from being bound now to precious Samira and she to you. Samira will have no home no love no family... She seeks to destroy ours with her random flashes of fire now she will have none but a man who does not want her and can not feel anything from her nor for her.

Mirri continued to ramble on about the curse detailing various points about it as she laughed and then combining the blood from both of them she laughed as she smeared it over both of their chests right at the cuts over the heart.

A fire started to creep through his body as he looked at Mirri, then as the pain started he laughed suddenly at her.

"And you will die a painful death little girl, you meddle with what you should not."

Then the pain became too much for talk or thought and he curled against his bonds as the pain lanced through him.

MIrri went one step further as she moved Samira as best she could as she had passed out from the pain. Mirri cut his bonds once he was out cold and then making it look like she was trying to protect Samira. Removing all signs of his bonds and she stood there appearing terrified and shaking as she held the little dagger with blood on it staring at him standing between him her back to Samira. Hearing Salim head down the stairs she began to scream for help.

Salim came storming into Samira's room and took in everything he saw,

"Mirri! Why are you not with the Amir? What are you doing here, holding a dagger?"

The Amir was summoned away I show him out... hear Samira crying... We must protect everyone favorite... stranger not acting like normal... too much desert heat and wine

She threw down the dagger and ran to Salim scared and trembling.

Salim held Mirri,

"Then you did good little Mirri, we will have to punish him for what he has done."

Mirri trembled in Salims arms whimpering hugging him tight.

Hearing him say she had done good she smiled a little looking into his eyes. Something deep in her eyes as she stared into his.

Send them both to the deserts... Mirri is all you need Salim... Send them to the deserts...

She continued to do what she could as she swayed between the terrified young thing and the voice slithering into his mind.

Salim nodded,

"They are both so much trouble, they do not care for us like we do. Mirri get the girls to prepare them, we will take them to the desert as soon as we can. Let their bane leave this house and we can live in peace again."

Yes and Salim and Mirri can be happy with them gone we can keep the others safe...

Her voice soft as she kissed his cheek still that terrified trembling little flower in his arms.

Mirri called to the others to prepare them for the day.

He woke up, he felt like shit that layed in the desert sun for three hours. He opened his eyes and found that he looked up at the stars. Coughing he sat up and looked around, he was in traveling clothes and his baggage was close to him, not too far from him he saw a small bundle. He knew who it was and he unsteadily got to his feet, looking around he could see that they were in the desert, if they wanted to survive this, they had to get a shelter now and get moving early when the desert cooled down. He suddenly started to laugh, Mirri in her own stupidity had set him free with enough money to go home. He thought and wondered if Samira would want to leave with him...or blame him for this.

Slowly she woke up looking around weak and thirsty. Realizing she was in the desert she was panicked till she saw him.

Mirri has won... She will be his new chosen Dancer and as she said I will have no home and lost to them all. All that is left is...

She bit her lip sure he would not wish her around he barely liked any of them anyways.

You?

Deacon Frost

He looked around, then picked up his baggage, he could hear fluids inside one of the bags, seems like he was not hated by all afterall.

"Then you should come with me if I am the only one left for you. Seems like I will not be going home just yet."

He held out a hand to help her to her feet.

"We will need shelter, the sun will be up soon."

Unless you do not wish my remaining with you?

Her hand slipped into his as she slowly stood up Finding that they did at least wrap a cloak around her and dressed her in her one of her finest dancing costumes. She bit her lip watching him she did not know what to think or do right now.

Shelter... yes...

Deacon Frost

"What you do is up to you, stay or leave makes no matter to me."

He gave her a small smile,

"I'd like if you stayed, would make survival easier."

He scanned around and noticed a small pile of rocks not too far away, he pointed her into the direction,

"Come lets see what we can find there if just shelter from the sun."

He started off into the direction of the rocks.

Then we travel together...

Seeing where he pointed she nodded.

Must be careful of desert asps and other creatures.

Walking towards the rocks with him hoping they would survive this.

Deacon Frost

He nodded,

"But we can also live of those creatures, judging from the distance a camel can travel and the time it is now, we are about three days' travel from the ocean and from there it might take any amount of time to reach a harbor."

They reached the outcropping of rocks and he looked around, poking and prodding,

"We are lucky, here is a space for two people, it will be a bit of a tight fit though, unless we leave our belongings outside."

She nodded and biting at her lip she followed his lead on the matter still confused and scared about being away from Salims and the gathering house... She held no real idea about how to act outside of her old home and a little about the market. At least even if he wanted no one nor anything he wanted her to stay with him for survival so maybe that was something.

Deacon Frost

He slid out of his baggage and produced rummaged through his bags, three water skins. It would become heavy, but also help a lot to help them survive, there was some dried dates and raisins. Energy food. Whoever packed this knew that they would need it. He pulled out one water skin and held it to her,

"Not more than two mouth fulls, we have to be careful with this."

She nodded and moved to get into the little cavern taking two little drinks she was scared and glad that he was there with her. She did not understand why this had happened. Why could Mirri hate them so much.

Deacon Frost

He moved inside with her, the space allowing no personal space, he smiled at her face. It was lovely in it's own way.

"Seems like little Mirri really did us both a good thing if we survive this,"

he looked at the cloak he wore, then pulled it off and placed it over them to give them a bit more shelter.

"Do not discard any clothing, as you can feel, the nights are chilly."

How do you mean she has done us good if we survive this?

She was without a home and security and only this man who wanted no one and manipulated people with some strange musical magic.

Laying there she curled a corner of the cloak into her hand to rest her cheek on as she laid there.

Deacon Frost

"If it was not for her, we would not have escaped. She basically gave us what we wanted. Salim will not let you go until you were of no more use and even though I gave him troubles, I made him way too much money to just allow me to leave. We are free from him now. Sure you might feel like you have lost everything, but I can show you how to regain much more than what you had."

How? Here in my homeland I have nothing. Salim protected us. He protected the outsider from those that would seek to kill you and me from living in the streets.

She balled up as small as she could in this close space. still confused and a little scared. She brushed her hair back from her face as she laid there
